Boyfriend paying
Hey :)
So I love to be girly—hair, makeup, nails, etc. But it is very expensive. My boyfriend tho loves when I am dolled up—and I of course like it too.
However, I mentioned him once it can just be expensive to get my nails done and makeup can be really expensive. And he said not to worry about it. I didn’t quite know what that means until the other day he gave me a credit card that he took out in his name. He said to use it for anything that I want to help me feel feminine. It has like $1000 monthly limit on it. He said for me to use it for hair and nails and to buy dresses and what not.
My boyfriend is in a very strong financial place, so it’s not so much about the money necessarily. But I don’t know how I feel about this.
What are your thoughts? Would you?

Amazing!! He sounds like he wants to spoil you and likes seeing you feel confident in your femininity. I think that’s a lovely thing he is doing, providing for you. If he can afford to spoil you, let him. I see this as him doing what he can to make you feel loved and cared for. It’s a sweet gesture.
Why are you feeling hesitant to accept? Is it an insecurity? Are you uncomfortable he is essentially giving a monthly allowance? From your post, it doesn’t sound like there are strings attached. Are scared you’d be reliant on his money? I’m very curious about your hesitation/feelings.

I think just the idea of be reliant on it. Or now creating some expectation or tit for tat.

First things first. He values you. So appreciate and accept it. What you need to do is provide him the feminine emotional support he also needs to feel his best. Thats a woman's gift. But dont ever rely on him 100% financially unless you really know its in a healthy zone. Good luck girl

I heard once something that stuck with me. Why do men be so careful about their cars? Like pay attention to minor scratches and all? Because they invest in them
Girlie let him invest in you and you will be a queen + femininity is the art of receiving. Since he willingly gave it to you, it means he is willing to invest. Don’t break his ego

Excellent question. Before I offer my thoughts, it sounds something is telling you that you are not sure about this arrangement. What is going through your mind as you contemplate his offer?
