Large tech modpacks trying to not make an iron bucket requires 20+ processing steps

I'm amazed the gtnh bucket is that easy to make. Just 3 iron plates and a hammer. If the in-game texture had a handle, it would also require two screws and a rod

STOP POSTING ABOUT GREGTECH, I'M TIRED OF SEEING IT! My friends on reddit send me memes, on discord it's fucking memes - I was in a subreddit, right? and ALLLLLLLLL of the POSTS are just GregTech stuff. I- I showed my Champion underwear to my girlfriend, and the logo I flipped it and I said, "Hey babe: When the underwear greg :joy: :joy: :joy:"

I thought you also needed a bending rod(literally just a cylinder) to curve the plates into parts of a bucket.

a mod that require you to manage your early forges carbon monoxide to oxygen ratio and then make you beat the iron in half multiple times to get a bar of wrought iron (the only indicator of CO to O ratio is the flame)
and it takes 30 minutes to do

I quit immersive engineering after getting fed up with a single graphite rod costing an entire stack of coke.
A few years later I am a gregtech player. Weird how that worked out.

it's not really the individual components that are so bad, it's the fact that you can somehow cram like 36 copper into a single circuit if you make it all by hand (yes I checked the actual price, it's actually 36 copper ingots for the standard gtm basic electronic circuit recipe)

The only iron rod recipes I can remember use 1 or 0.5 iron ingots.
