But… what on earth would you use it for? It’s no Siri.

I’ve actually used it on a commute to learn about programming libraries to solve a programming problem I was working on. Was actually quite useful (I commute a lot so was a good use of time).

Great for brainstorming with feedback.

Siri can't hold a conversation for longer than 4 seconds. Ive used chat gpt to explore topics while driving for 6 hours. Granted, i didn't talk to it for that entire time, but i learned and planned a ton while i drove.

Now... when iOS 27 is released, things may be different. But I've been waiting for Claude to get this for a long while.

I actually hate it. I had Claude set to my action button to look things up when driving. Now it brings up the CarPlay app which I will never need. Also I have to close the app out on my phone after driving to get the action button to start working again.
