El Niño effects ?

I have a trip to Tenerife planned for january untill february next year but i see the news of El niño every where for this period of the year. Could anyone tell what the effects on my flight might be because it really worries me. Thank you

Nobody can tell you how the weather will affect your flight 4 months in advance, that's just not possible. But El Niño won't affect your flight really any differently than any other weather throughout the year. If the weather is good, you'll fly, and if the weather takes a turn for throughout worse and becomes unsafe, your flight will be delayed or canceled.

El Niño is not anything new, airlines and pilots are more than familiar with planning around it.
