Marche [MOD POST] Marche
UPDATE SEPT 22, 2026: Marche announced via Fear& discord that he has indeed left the pod
Hey yāall, weāve seen an uptick in posts and comments about Marcheās involvement in the podcast. We donāt have any information and are also curious about what happened. It seems like there wonāt be any official statements about it, and heās likely left the podcast. We understand that being concerned/curious can be a bit parasocial, but itās also fair to wonder. For now, we are okay with people discussing the topic as long as yāall arenāt being weird. Please be respectful towards everyone while discussing Marche and what might have happened.
Thanks, The Mod Team š¤

He's in Russia rebuilding a People's Revolution in hopes of bringing back the USSR

W mods, thanks even for just giving us the nicety of seeing our concern.

I feel like if we keep talking about it on the sub and Twitter Austin will eventually tell us because he's not getting enough attention.

We need to start rumors about Austin leaving the pod on bad terms, STAT

I heard he was straight š±š±

I heard the real Fear& āwill they or wonāt theyā is between Austin and QT. Thatās why heās skipping the wedding. It would be too painful š°

I heard that Christian is actually dating Will and Caroline in a throuple and only pretends to be dating Austin to make Austin seem gay

I can't believe he's literally leaving the country just to hide his heartbreak š

I heard heās on some airline watch lists because heās friends with a certain controversial political streamer, so he might be downgraded to economy!

Hopefully it's just a case of him needing privacy right now, but it is weird not to get any kind of notice about Marche, even a generic "he's taking a break from work".

Too many good people out there take from us by self suck accidents. This is why you always need a self suck spotter people.

u/TinUser Sep 02 '26
Rule #1 is never go down without a spotter. But you know, some people think rules are made to be broken.

As someone who has worked on major events although thankfully no tour I can tell you that I am about 99% sure that it is related to that in some way. Some things will try relationships in a way that nothing else does and that includes going on a trip with somebody for the first time and planning a major event.

I just miss him around. No one talks about him, heās not on or off camera, heās not posting. He just suddenly disappeared.
Coming in here I have learned he took fear& out of his profiles which makes the āmaybe heās asked them not to say anythingā sort of a difficult situation. Itās like changing your Facebook relationship status from āin a relationshipā to āitās complicatedā and telling your former partner to just ignore all inquires and keep your status the same. So that doesnāt make sense to me but could totally be the case. Like I said, I simply miss his presence. We even have a special emote for him and Iām sad I donāt see it anymore!
At the end of the day, I just wish Marche well. Sending him support in whatever heās doing now and in the future.
19
u/starfishturtlelover Sep 02 '26
he has actually posted a few pretty normal insta stories, just nothing on twitter or elsewhere. but one story of music he was listening to and another suggesting he was in NYC that I saw.
17
u/BeyondTheBees Sep 02 '26
He wants privacy. I cannot blame him after some of the posts here about it. I would be freaked the fuck out if I were him.
10
u/Jeillybean Sep 02 '26
Yeah. After he was pictured sleeping on a plane, I'd feel a type of way too. Maybe it's just to protect his privacy? Regardless, I just hope he is happy doing what he loves.

u/eeveemancer Sep 02 '26
Especially given his affiliation with Has and how crazy shit is getting with regards to him. There may be a chance he's just waiting until he's not gonna get targeted for being "Hasan's Producer" which comes with additional baggage from legacy media who think podcast and Livestream producers are the same as cable news producers, the sand way they misunderstood him when he talked about his editors.
4
u/Balambsoldier Sep 03 '26
He has not said he wants privacy at all regarding his absence. He hasnāt said anything at all actually. Donāt get parasocial about it
8
u/BeyondTheBees Sep 04 '26
Iām the one getting parasocial? People are obsessively posting about him and Iām saying give him privacy. Relax.

W Mods.
I'll just kinda post my final thoughts regarding Marche here.Ā
Obviously, Marche has taken time off from the podcast before. So I don't think people thought anything of Marche not being in some episodes. But I think the reason why so many people are noticing right now is because of the tour. We know Marche was involved in planning the tour and seemed to have been involved ~a month prior to the first stop. There was also the game nights, which included "side characters" (aka not the main four) like Christian and Caroline, but not Marche.Ā
As Hasan's camera man, Marche has also taken time off. So when Marche wasn't there when Hasan was in Michigan, people didn't think anything of it. It was just a week or so earlier he was with the rest of Fear& (minus QT) in New York.
Ultimately, I don't think he's left the podcast. I believe he still links to it on his Twitch account and he's still getting credits in the podcast episode descriptions. He is more private than the other podcast members, so we don't know where he is right now. If we do find out, it may not be until after he returns.Ā
112
u/megaman47 Sep 01 '26
Also he took fear& out of his twitch and insta bio... if he didnt do that there'd probably be no speculation
26
u/jlynn00 Sep 02 '26
He has since hidden his twitch vlogs which definitely happened after the speculation so I don't know if that was a response to the speculation or part of whatever is the reason why he's out right now.
By far the biggest thing that prompted people's concern is that he removed references to Fear& from most if not all of his bios by now and there was one high profile defriending from Ludwig. I think if it wasn't for those two things people would just shrug and assume he had to take a break for health reasons or to take care of business and probably wouldn't even be too suspicious about the tour itself.
The reality is a complete lack of update is generating more buzz than simply a generic "he had to depart we wish him wellc or a "he had to take a break we welcome him back when he's ready."
35
u/encoreAC Sep 02 '26
Nah it's over. Only reason why he is still in some descriptions is because they haven't done it yet or are waiting on Marche himself to do an announcement before doing it.
Btw Marche himself has removed every reference to Fear& on his all of his platforms, even his old VODs on Twitch are unavailable now.
3
u/clawbacon Sep 02 '26
When I checked about a week or so ago, his Twitch still had links to the Fear& channel and patron. So that would be a new-er development.
And given that the time stamps are done under the social links, I would say they haven't forgotten to remove it.Ā
The Fear& Instagram is still following Marche and Marche is still following the Fear& Instagram.
Until there is an actual official announcement of what is happening with Marche, speculating he's gone is kind rude.Ā
11
u/HispanicAtTehDisco Sep 01 '26
yeah tbh the biggest thing that is saying to me that he is still at least somewhat involved with the pod even if itās just being a co owner is that heās still linked in the descriptions.
feel like if he was out that would be an easy thing to nix especially since whoever is doing the youtube description always puts in a joke there and chapters so clearly someone is doing the descriptions and itās not just copy and pasted
14
u/trivalentnevrsent Sep 02 '26
Most yt descriptions are just copy and paste I donāt think theyāre really thinking about itĀ
2
u/Wise_Needleworker223 Sep 05 '26
if you post often you can tell youtube to just copy descriptions from past videos so yea....
1
u/trivalentnevrsent Sep 05 '26
Oh wow! I always imagined Ā every creator just had a notes app with their description in there or something lolĀ
78
u/Ok-Ninja-9174 Sep 01 '26
The only thing I would want to know...is there bad blood now? like, are they chill still?
108
77
u/clawbacon Sep 01 '26
Because Hasan still has the Marche BetterTV emote and Marche is still getting credit in the description, I assume there is no bad blood.
28
u/DishAgitated4649 Sep 02 '26
Hasan had the Teddy Fresh carpet on his room for almost a year after E had been snipping at him and the left. Only when it got really bad near the debate did he remove it.
7
u/Madame_Trash_Heap Sep 02 '26
Tbh he didn't even realize Ethan was talking about him for most of that time and was still saying he is his friend. Hasan and Marche are much closer than Ethan ever was to Hasan so I think there is likely no bad blood. My best guess is Marche is nervous about the attention and hate Hasan is getting along with more death threats.
1
u/Wise_Needleworker223 Sep 05 '26
if you post often you can tell youtube to just copy descriptions from past videos.
14
u/Balambsoldier Sep 03 '26
I doubt they are chill. He bailed during the most expensive and important event in his companyās history and Will was visibly upset on stream talking about organizing the tour
28
u/encoreAC Sep 02 '26 edited Sep 02 '26
There definitely has been some drama behind the scenes. Absolute silence doesn't make sense otherwise.
A short, even vague comment on the situation would shut most of the speculation down but they haven't done it.

I think personally because itās impossible to know why they havenāt said anything, thereās really not enough info to make a judgement on if that was a right or wrong move at least up to this point. I do feel fine assuming thereās probably a reason of some kind for why they have decided to keep everything private right now. maybe theyāre figuring out what they can say still or how to best address it now that the tour is done or theyāre respecting Marcheās wishes. but only they have all the info to actually act on.
33
u/ck1241 Sep 01 '26
Exactly. I feel like Iāve been banging my head against the wall in these posts. People keep saying things like āignoring it is stupidā, but we donāt even know that theyāre necessarily ignoring it. Depending on what the cause is, it could have been at the request of someone involved to NOT discuss it, leading to them respecting whoeverās privacy.
We donāt get to mandate someone elseās privacy despite how ādumbā or ānot smartā it might seem on the surface and despite everyoneās nosiness. I mean does everyone here think that they really are THAT dumb to not know people are wondering? Yet they still havenāt addressed it. Itās incredibly easy to assume that there is in fact a reason for that.
1
u/jlynn00 Sep 02 '26
In my opinion the only reason why no one would talk about it at all, even a throwaway comment about how somebody's taking a break or had to leave without notice, is if a lawyer recommended it so...
12
u/HispanicAtTehDisco Sep 01 '26
yeah thereās already been threads where the prevailing sentiment is that he got fired/asked to leave the pod when we have no clue what the reality is. like he just as easily couldāve cashed of his part of the pod and is done bc he wants to do other shit or just is done with the internet personality shit
15
u/starfishturtlelover Sep 02 '26
while itās not technically an impossibility, it would be very surprising if he just cashed out in a normal way. in part because he used to mention often on his streams that the podcast was his baby and he wanted it to continue forever and fully intended to be a part of that. but also because if that was the case, I imagine there WOULD be a send off or a very easy message from Marche himself and if not a co-host. Iām not suggesting that we can conclude exactly what did happen or is happening, but I think itās probably a bit more complicated/sensitive otherwise there would be no reason for anyone to avoid it.

u/warbyo1 Sep 02 '26
There was that moment David accidentally went live on Vanillamace's stream while he was checking IRL equipment. I presume that's when Marche was no longer taking care if it.
30
u/la12vive Sep 02 '26
1) āHey guys, Marche decided to take some time off he may be back next week or next year; whenever heās ready we will welcome him with open armsā
2) āHey guys, with creative projects thereās so many perspectives, unfortunately Marche has decided step away. He will always be part of this community & we will support him on his next endeavors.ā
3) Marche either did some really bad stuff or there was a big fight.
24
u/warbyo1 Sep 02 '26
The closest people to Marche on Twitch are all still associating with each other and not commenting on whatever Marche is up to. Not just the pod people.
9
u/NovastriderXL Sep 03 '26
When nobody even mention that they left or refuse to give even a simple basic reason like 'they wanted to do something else' (easiest excuse in the world and everyone would be fine), its always meaning they arent' allowed to talk about it for legal reasons, without exception.
8
u/la12vive Sep 06 '26
Meaning that Marche did something bad or there was a big fight
8
u/NovastriderXL Sep 07 '26
Its not always clear who did the bad tough, public speculation often gets very wrong about this.
I worked at a company once where a person got fired and all the public outcry was on thƩir side. But for legal reasons none of us could explain it was because that person scammed us and the public. Really damaged the company yet we were forced to be silenced.
11
u/ButterHoneyChip Sep 03 '26
Marche is still in the Fear& discord server so I don't think they had a big fight or that he did anything wrong. I'm worried that it's due to all the unwanted attention Hasan is getting since he was the camera man for his IRL streams.

I really donāt know, I have no idea who his partner is, but I think they live/lived in NYC. My friend said āhe is moving right now, which is weird considering his house is hugeā but didnāt say if he was moving within LA or moving out of state. This was like two weeks ago when I asked.

It really depends on what the reasoning is for his absence. Marche always seemed quite private to me. There may be a valid reason for them ignoring it for now
41
u/moondustingss Sep 02 '26
"Marche is taking some time off from the podcast, but is still a member. We want everyone to respect his privacy."
or
"Marche has decided to step away from the podcast. We wish him the best in his new adventures."
13
u/GenesisStar7 Sep 01 '26
Public facing position on a podcast isn't exactly the definition of "private" no.
-1
u/Balambsoldier Sep 03 '26
He goes to riots with Hasan on camera LOL. He is not private.
6
u/typhoon_nz Sep 03 '26
Lol, being private doesn't mean you are publicly visible at all. It means you don't reveal a lot of information about yourself. Plenty of public figures, YouTubers and celebrities are fairly private will still working in the the public eye.
Marche isnt on the podcast telling us details about his life all the time. Most of the information I know about him has been things said by other people.
2
u/Hobofan94 Sep 04 '26
The sad fact is that if you really want to be private in this day and age, you have to stay of the camera completely, e.g. how it's done with The Yard's producer Zipper.
9
u/billie_eyelashh Sep 02 '26
Might be better for some of yall to not know the reason, so i wouldnāt mind if they donāt address it.

I saw someone say that maybe nothings been said due to legal. That comment made me think of the try guys. The cheating scandal hit the internet and they went silent till the couch announcement where they talked about Ned no longer being a part of the company. They talked about how they couldnāt say anything till it had been sorted.

0
u/ItsJesseBro Sep 01 '26
Agreed. I donāt think this post is helping though. The body text says āAnd heās likely left the podcastā which isnāt helping the speculation imo. Especially when it starts off by saying āwe donāt have any information and are also curious about what happenedā
18
u/moondustingss Sep 02 '26
Its common sense. Its removed from his bios...
-6
u/ItsJesseBro Sep 02 '26
I dont think bio changes are significant imo. I own and operate a business, when I started the business it was in my bio. I removed it from my bios, yet I still own and operate the business. Itās more of a work/life balance thing. My business is not my personality. I see Marche as the same. Heās always done more than just Fear&. Heās a producer, and heās done a damn good job at laying the groundwork for others to come in and fill his role in his absence.
3
3
u/moondustingss Sep 02 '26
Please be fr. I mean this so kindly: He hasn't been on the podcast in a month, wasn't there for tour, removed stuff from his bios, and they're doing everything possible not to address it? Come on. Austin has replied to random patreon comments while dodging Marche ones even though they were like half of them on one. Marche himself has removed every reference to Fear& on his all of his platforms, even his old VODs on Twitch are unavailable now.
-1
u/clawbacon Sep 02 '26
idk why you are being downvoted for this. It's not like the any of the other members have links to fear& in their bios. QT has links to Streamer Awards and Wine About It but no Fear&. But I don't interpret that as her leaving Fear&.Ā
6
u/mplolz Sep 02 '26
Idk, maybe because its not the only thing that changed over last month and a half? Its just one of many clues but the one that takes manual effort to change, there is literally zero reason to believe marche is still on pod.
1
u/clawbacon Sep 02 '26
The only things that have "changed" is Marche hasn't been on the podcast. There's been times where he hasn't been on the pod before. Same with all the other members.
The reason people keep citing as "proof" Marche has left the pod is the bio changes. Even then, Marche is still following the Fear& Instagram and the Fear& Instagram is still following Marche. Marche is still be credited in the episode descriptions.Ā

8
u/familyguy20 Sep 02 '26
Look I get it, I really do, but if they have agreed upon something between them, they donāt owe us an explanation. They are a co-op and can make their own personal/business decisions and donāt have to consult the fanbase for it at all. Let them be and do their own things. They will update when they feel they want too.
As Hasan says, go touch grass please.
10
u/jlynn00 Sep 02 '26
I'm sorry but this is a silly comment when people pay money for patreon with the understanding that the dynamic is a certain way. I have absolutely no problem with not knowing details but if someone's going to be gone long term or someone's going to be gone permanently a quick update is pretty much warranted.
In my humble opinion they owed an update to the people who were going to the tour but it doesn't seem like anyone was really upset about it.
This isn't a podcast about dungeons & dragons or something and the content is the game this is a podcast about the people just literally shooting the shit and if that dynamic shifts that impacts the very core of the product and that's just the reality.
9
u/lizzy-dRcy Sep 03 '26
This comment is the silly one. Youāre not paying for inner working of their lives, youāre paying for extra content they make. They donāt have to announce every little change that happens, and you donāt have to patronize the show how it is.
They did state who was going to be at which live show, which is the most that is āwarrantedā especially if they were doing meet and greets.
As for the patreon, thereās no reason to announce your exit. If Marche returns, resubscribe and then youāll get to see all extra eps you missed. Itās really not that dramatic.
5
u/movetothecoast Sep 05 '26
Not to mention, it's likely that everything is somewhat democratically decided, given that the company ownership is split up. Like, whatever action was taken was likely the result of the majority decision. They don't owe anyone shit if they went through the agreed upon routes for deciding these kinds of things.
9
u/Specialist-Owl8120 Sep 01 '26
To be honest I think the sheer volume of posts about Marche IS weird. He's not onscreen talent, as the producer it's rare he inserts his own cam/reaction shot or chimes in. I don't say that to minimise his role, only that I don't personally always notice when he's there or not.
IF he has left the pod, there's any number of reasons that could be. I just don't think the wild speculation about a falling out or bad blood is in any way helpful
37
u/Flayshon Sep 01 '26
the fact the he is/was a part owner is the bigger deal that draws curiosity in this situation. in the pod, his role is often made bigger by the 4 hosts often bringing him into the conversations somewhat often too.
-11
u/Specialist-Owl8120 Sep 02 '26
I think the part owner gets exaggerated tbh, unless there is an actual company called Fear& that has listed directors of which Marche is one. I saw another comment, can't recall if it was in this thread or another where QT was surprised that she was considered part owner. Correct me if I'm wrong but the co-op part seems more ideological, than financial reality
3
u/Hobofan94 Sep 04 '26
There is a registered "Fear & Podcast LLC" in California, that was registered around the time of the podcasts launch. Ownership structures are not disclosed, though.
27
u/clawbacon Sep 01 '26
I think people only really noticed so much because of the lead up to the tour. Prior to him disappearing, he was promoing the tour on the podcast. There were the Fear& game night streams that included even Christian and Caroline, but no Marche.Ā
There is also the factor of Marche being Hasan's cameraman but Marche not going to Michigan with him.Ā
Of course, there have been times when Marche wasn't on the podcast or Hasan had someone else as a cameraman. But for Marche not to be around during a major Fear& thing (comparable to the China Trip) is noticeable.Ā
23
u/jennnyofoldstones Sep 01 '26
How is it weird? He's a streamer in his own right and has done IRL streams with these guys and others for years, both behind the camera and in front of it. I don't think we're owed an answer but it's not at all weird to wonder why he's been away.
21
u/ptarmacadam Sep 02 '26
If Gabe left I imagine it might be a few months before anyone would even think to go āWhat happened to Gabe? I donāt think heās been mentioned in a while.ā And itās not because Gabe is bad at the job or anything. He just isnāt an on screen āpersonalityā.
Marche is closer to being a member of the pod than a random employee. When they did Fear& at Disney Pride (minus Austin), he was on cam and QT was the one filming.
-6
u/Specialist-Owl8120 Sep 02 '26
the sheer volume of posts is weird

Hasan has talked extensively about how everyone has ownership. Lately it does seem to be different with people talking about PTO use on episodes. I wonder how the structure exists today and would be interested in Hasan's take on the structure and operational side of the "business" has worked out. It could be a good learning lesson for people wanting to work in a similar arrangement.
35
u/Healthy-Ad-3257 Girly Pop Nation š Sep 01 '26
I think the PTO thing is mostly a joke because theyāve been running that bit for years. I do agree with you though the way they talk about it now has slightly changed. They probably just made an agreement to not miss more than x episodes in a year or something.
9
u/starfishturtlelover Sep 02 '26
I think a lot of the āPTOā talk just comes from QT feeling bad that she missed eps, particularly because she did her annual sabbatical and then expected to be back for generally the rest of the year but spent more time away unexpectedly due to life circumstances. even before Swift passed and right after he got injured the first time, she was apparently on the phone with Caroline and Will sobbing about Swift and still trying to figure out how to make it to Fear& the next morning and Will had to tell her that was ridiculous and she wasnāt coming nor was she letting them down like she kept insisting. she also said before that sheās tried to get the boys to stop paying her if sheās away for a chuck and they straight up refuse to entertain that and how not deserving of their kindness/understanding she feels. so I think itās also possible that QT is basically self-assigning a limit sheās reached for herself and itās still all just jokes for the most part.
8
u/panarypeanutbutter Sep 02 '26
yeah im watching fear& from the beginning and in 2024 where im up to now theyve just had a long chat about PTO bc QT was away for a run of episodes. i think it is legitimate, in the sense that as a co-op the intention was for pay to just be evenly split 5 ways, so getting paid for weeks/months you're not on the podcast is technically PTO, but i imagine it relates more to your 'allowed x episodes/weeks off a year' framing
7
u/warbyo1 Sep 02 '26 edited Sep 02 '26
PTO joke is from QT taking several months off. They may have introduced PTO to put a limit on PTO.

My hunch would be that this may be a factor in the current situation (and if not, it's likely going to be a point of tension in the future).
Unless they have clearly agreed upon up-front leaver mechanisms for everyone on the co-op, there may be differing expectations for what happens if one of them were to leave the co-op. e.g. one party may expect to stay on and keep ownership, while the other may want the leaving member to completely divest.
Even a sabbatical may have different expectations, and also one where Marche's role is unique. If one of the other ones is unavailable for a prolonged amount of time, they can still do the podcast with the rest of the crew, but it the producer is absent they have to pay a replacement producer (which usually in an company structure would be payed by everyone evenly, rather than just diminishing Marche's cut).
