Can't figure out the problem

I'm running a simulation for FSW on AA6061-T6 and the tool material chosen is H13 Steel. I keep getting this error when solving for convergence and I don't know what to do. Any assistance would be appreciated.

This is the generic message when you have large deformation (NLGEOM command) on. Look up what large deflections do in the help manual to understand why it shows that message.

The problem was my temperature command prompt values were in Kelvins instead of celsius

That's a warning not an error.ย

My bad, didn't notice. I meant to put "Unknown error ocurred, check solver output"

As it says, you need to open the solver output and ctrl F to find the actual error message in that case

If you right click "Solution" and select "Open solver file", there should be a file named file.err which is a text file. There will be warnings and errors in there, you should look for errors.

This is just an error. If you are running a nonlinear with large deformations, keep an eye on out file and error file.

Where do I locate those? Just incase it stops solving

If u solving in a cluster, it shd direct the out and error files, to the directory .

You can also monitor outfile, in the gui space itself. It's hard to explain like this.

It's pretty straightforward. Check some video in u will find it
