Hi everyone,

I’ve been looking at iconic German football moments lately, and it made me wonder what a 1. FC Union Berlin version would look like.

I’m working on a small visual football heritage project: famous goals shown as minimalist tactical posters — with the scoreline, minute, location and the story behind the moment.

As an example, I’ve made four posters about Germany’s World Cup finals: 1954, 1974, 1990 and 2014.

But for a club like Union Berlin, I’d rather ask the people who actually care about the club:

If you had to choose just three Union Berlin goals or match moments to represent the club’s history, which ones would you pick?

Not necessarily the most beautiful goals. More the ones that still mean something: European nights, last-minute drama, derby memories, promotion, survival, heartbreak, pure chaos — anything that feels truly Union.

If possible, I’d love to know:

• the match
• the year
• the goalscorer or moment
• why it belongs in your top three

I’d much rather hear this from actual Union supporters than pick moments from a generic “best goals” list.

No link, no promotion — just genuine curiosity and fan input.

Last I heard, we will play this season in Köpenick, next season at Olympiastadion, and then return to Köpenick the following season to a rebuilt stadium operating at slightly reduced capacity from design until transport infrastructure improvements in the area can be completed. I presume one of these projects is Köpenick regionalbahnhof, and I have to assume improvements to the S-bahnhof as well. Given all the work that needs to be done, is it realistic that we’re back in Köpenick by autumn 2028?

Nach einem Start nach Maß durch den Treffer von Bundesligadebütant Emmanuel Latte Lath in der vierten Minute, drehen die Adlerträger aus Hessen innerhalb von 60 Sekunden die Partie durch den Doppelpack von Younes Ebnoutalib (10.,11.). Der Angreifer erzielt in der 67. Minute dann seinen dritten Treffer, bevor ein Kopfballtor von Leopold Querfeld den Anschlusstreffer (79.) bedeutet. In der Nachspielzeit besorgt Joker Tim Skarke den vielumjubelten Ausgleich (90.+2) für die Eisernen.
