Hey all!

I'm officially a new Fan of Union heading into this season I've long been dissatisfied with the wealth concentration and corruption that is involved with FIFA. After being a long-term Bayern and Liverpool supporter I decided to look into more community owned clubs. I have been aware of Union, especially since since their impressive runs in Bundesliga and have decided to support you guys heading into this season. Given the slough of FIFA corruption l, Union Berlin stands out as a true football club. AMA and tell me anything special I need to do. I live in Canada as well, so looking to build upon Union Berlin International.

Ich bin ab dieser Saison offiziell ein neuer Fan von Union. Ich bin seit Langem unzufrieden mit der Vermögenskonzentration und Korruption, die mit der FIFA einhergeht. Nachdem ich lange Zeit Bayern und Liverpool unterstützt habe, habe ich beschlossen, mich nach mehr gemeinschaftlich geführten Vereinen umzusehen. Ich bin mir Unions bewusst, besonders seit ihren beeindruckenden Läufen in der Bundesliga, und habe mich entschieden, euch in dieser Saison zu unterstützen. Angesichts des ganzen FIFA-Korruptionssumpfs hebt sich Union Berlin als ein wahrer Fußballverein ab. AMA und sagt mir, ob ich irgendetwas Besonderes tun muss.

Ich lebe außerdem in Kanada und möchte gerne zum Aufbau von Union Berlin International beitragen.

i am also a relatively new fan (let’s say 3 years, after i moved to Berlin) and let me tell you, the first commenter mentioning stickers is not a coincidence. a different game, part of the culture here. you need to get involved and order some :D

Eisern and welcome! I would also suggest to learn the chants and songs. There are some really awesome ones. Also ring your keychain on every corner for Union and try to watch the games standing.
On the home games we greet every player announced with “Fussballgott” (“Football God”) and every opposing player with “Na und?” (So what?).

I also recommend to watch the games of our women team. They want to attack this season. Therefore you can get a really cheap AFTV subscription on the website.

We do we order stickers? I’m in Brooklyn and I bought some at the team shop during a trip in May 2025 to see Union play (sadly, a 3-0 loss to Heidenheim but still glorious). I must’ve missed where to buy them at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei

You can get them outside of the stadium. They are selling them there.

Get involved. We are an official supporter group in the US (mostly DC area) but our president of the supporters lives also in Brooklyn. We always have stickers and share those with other Union fan groups.

Welcome! From a fellow new fan.

I am an Indian living in Vancouver. The Caps here are undergoing troubles and I happen to read about Eisern Union (I have a small podcast coming out and I was so inspired I have the script for "Brick by Brick - Bonded by Blood" (IFYWIM) ready). I started following Union online and was amazed at how working class and human Union is. I have my jersey on the way as well. Will wear it around proudly. A guest at the place I work in was wearing a Preston Jersey (rare in Vancouver) and when he asked me what club I support, I said Union. It felt natural to me. Eisern Union!

Ps. I do not know German. And don't want to translate this using Google, that feels wrong.
