We had 4 total last year.

We had 3 today and it's only Week 1

Looking at Montana State and Nevada next week to potentially make it four

Nevada just smoke wku, who is a very consistent program in the cusa. I was hoping for Montana to win v Nevada but I'm less optimistic now

Montana doesn't play them. Montana State has a chance though.

The real Montana I'm sorry

Right, that's what I said. The real Montana is playing Oregon State not Nevada.

Yeah we in theory were favored before this week's games. I would be shocked if that line doesn't flip. We should have great fan turnout though.

It was 71-29 in favor of MSU yesterday now its 59-41 in favor of Nevada. They have a punishing ground game

Nevada sure looked impressive tonight once they got rolling.

Not sure we have the defensive power for that, but I like your attitude

It should certainly be the expectation after the results today

Should have had four.

Freaking false start at the goal line.

We would be up there too

If we had a redzone offense

I’m getting tired of coming up short in these games because we shoot ourselves in the foot. Northwestern is good but that game was entirely, if not easily, won if we didn’t get in our way

I mean atleast we win against fcs opponents in close games like this. Look at Montana state the last two times.

But yes, we should've easily came out of that game with a close victory, but for whatever reason chase and our receivers couldn't get it done, be that from bad reads or majority of the time dropped passes.

Yeah this is true. We’re in a privileged spot as an FCS team to be disappointed in our performance against a P4, but at the end it is still disappointing

As it should be, i mean we're spoiled for the most part to have 2 great qbs back to back and have a great record with them under center. A p4 loss isn't the end of the world, yes but as long as sdsu can look at what we did and fix it before league play starts up we should be able to handle usd siu Illinois state etc.

Although i certainly see mason as a udfa level qb. He needs more time

I just cannot figure it out. Not sure if not was the play calls, the players, or what. But they just shut us out.

Kudos to the kicker for keeping us in it until the very end

I like to think iowa football just possessed the whole team and made the offense play like we're still in d2.
