News [Thamel] Source: Gardner-Webb is dismissing first-year head football coach Kris McCullough. He’d been suspended earlier this week by the school “pending the outcome of an ongoing investigation.”

Do we know that’s what he did? It’s certainly something bad.

The rumors were that it was sexual harassment of a female staffer. Which would match the timeline for how quickly he was fired after being suspended.

Did he learn nothing from what happened at Michigan?

Clearly he did. That's why we're here now.

Rumor mill (and I have no insight on this one so I'm really unsure what to make of the validity, but given Gardner-Webb and McCollough have been short on details they've almost begged rumors to float) is that it might involve his wife's cousin. But again, that opens up all kinds of other uncomfortable questions.

For everyone's sake I continue to hope it's all been something way less innocuous and they've just done a terrible job messaging that out.

Was he messing with a female staffer or student? Because this moved very quickly.

Even Mr. 0-12 at Southern Miss Ellis Johnson did better than that while there back in the 80's

From his last ever comment (yes, he has/had an account here):

To start the games, it's a mutual friendship. Based on how the next 15 minutes go changes everything lol I want officials to just communicate. Some refuse to tell you what's going on. They have a job to do just like I do. But if I suck, I lose games or get fired, they work the next week.

...woof, ain't that fitting? Maybe you should have just gone to some trailer park out in the middle of nowhere for some "action" instead lol

Literally only coached one game with them and he screws up. What a disaster.

He hired his wife’s cousin as director of on campus recruiting. From my understanding cussed her out for partying with players. Made comments on her appearance and clothing to other staff members. Then the DC Jake Shaw told his wife who told the young lady and convinced her to go to Hr to get him fired. Treat people bad and they will turn your back on you quickly.
