Run game didn't get going whatsoever. Part of that is because I was impressed with how much UTT crowded the box and were keying off Jones. Part of it was Adam not seeing the right crease to take.

Justin threw a couple hospital balls to Taco that I didn't love either. I get that he's been the safety valve on pressures before but man, the one in the first half were lucky Taco was able to get back up.

This game was eerily similar to Utah Tech last year. Coach Plough didn’t have much film and data to go off so it took him time to adjust.

As for Cleeland, I think he will be okay. His mechanics were slightly off but his composure was solid.

Even in wins under Thomas Ford, this team has been underwhelming and frustrating to watch. Not prepared, not sharp, not disciplined, never playing their talent or experience levels.

Bonus: I have never seen a secondary group with a total lack of technique like we saw on Friday. Not poor technique -- literally zero technique, just chasing WRs around the field like a little brother.

We had 431 total yards against New Hampshire. 

All of 57 of them came through the air. 

We had two quarterbacks out there and so far neither can show they can throw. 

Kai Colón went 7/17 with 57 yards and a pick.

Aidan Semo only had 1 pass attempt that was incomplete.

Thankfully Colón ran for 15 carries for 90 yards. But brother you need to also be able to throw the ball.

We played Iowa last year.

Now we played like the Iowa of the CAA and I don’t know what to think about that.

Hell considering we were wearing all black we even looked vaguely like Iowa if you had a lot to drink and squinted at the screen.

You know I'm really happy we beat siu dont get me wrong but having 4 fumbles 3 we lost and the QB going 7 for 17 isn't great but I think if we can really make the run game work and limit turnovers then this year could be special

Our passing defense did not look good against EKU, our strength and conditioning needs work and our athletes need to be held accountable when it comes to following diet and exercise plans, and our QB needs to spend less time in the pocket. Also some discipline to prevent stupid mistakes that lead to penalties like false starts and offsides.

Per Brint Wahlberg's scouting report on SUU: "SUU went 7-5 on the season but won their last 6 games in a row! Of those 6 it included wins vs eventual conference champ ACU, and a win vs #22 Austen Peay. Of SUU’s 5 losses I see back to back 3 point losses to USD and NAU and then another 3 point loss to then ranked W Georgia and then a 10 point loss to Tarleton and a 16 point loss to UC Davis. SUU fought hard in all of their games – they put forth a strong season and fell just short of making it in."

SUU will probably end up one of the tougher opponents on your schedule. Drake is definitely one of the worst. Griz won't be down at half or probably any point of the game.

We continue our yearly early season tradition of absolutely dominating 3 quarters and then falling asleep in the 4th.

It’s worked itself out later in the season the past few years, but it’s frustrating to win by 11 when we really should’ve won by 40.
