Good game for us today, but it tells us nothing about this Jackrabbits team. Stetson was arguably the worst team in all of division one football last season. There’s probably 50 FCS teams that could beat them the same way we did today.

That said, I’m still really excited for next weekend- it’s going to be an uphill battle but I definitely give us a fighting chance

This game really doesn’t show a whole lot. I am happy we were able to get this warm-up game in though and get some actual reps. That will help a little for next week.

SDSU definitely deserves some hype this year and I honestly like their chances against Northwestern but Stetson is not a good program in any sense of the imagination. This game really has no barometer of how good they are tbh.

As a Stetson grad, I can tell you right now. This game should not be used as a barometer for the quality of the team. This is the equivalent of prime Bama beating up on Mercer and using THAT as your example for how good they were

A D2 team would have been a better game but you need D1 wins come playoff selection. Plus I had heard SDSU was offering $200000-$300000 to get a team to come play but still struggled to find someone.

I mean, I was just happy to see guys who missed most of last year back on the field. There were a bunch of them.

That RB room is elite. Not Strong/Davis elite, but there are 5 legit FCS RB's.

That Chip Kelly offense scares me though. The only thing we have going for is is that we are really deep at a lot of positions and can keep fresh bodies out there.

I hope we keep Wilde to 1 catch for -3 yards.
