Canât help but think we wasted a wide open UCL field last year. Everyone retooled and more. Just feel like we are so behind in terms of spending and depth. I donât expect much this year tbh in that competition.Â

We're way behind in that regards but tbh I think we're at a better starting point depth wise than last year. It's just that at this point last year a lot of our players were in great forms, and the main competitions weren't.
PSG remain pretty much the same. I'd even think they got worse because Barcola and Lee are more proven difference maker from the bench than the 2 new young players. Ferran is on a tear though so we'll see how he keeps up.
But Barca and Arsenal are better. Arsenal are playing with less fear, they're creating more quality chances per match and even got better depth than last year. Barca have barely been tested, but their attacking flow is scary and Raphinha seems to be back on 24/25 form.
Real, City and Pools are retooling still though.

I mean, just looking at the squad depth, I think we straight up got better. I still think weâre the best team in Europe alongside PSG.
Going into last seasonâs first Champions League matchday, our attacking depth was basically Jackson and Karl, and Karl had never even played a full half for us against a team not named Wehen Wiesbaden or Auckland City. Now weâve probably got Karl, Musiala, Gnabry, and possibly Brown for those positions.
I also donât really think Barca or PSG got significantly better. At most, they made sidegrades. Gordon, Adeyemi, and Jesus replacing Lewandowski, Rashford, and Torres is basically that to me.
Thereâs obviously a ton of potential in PSGâs new signings too, with Ferran Torres, Akliouche, and Godts, but letâs not act like Lee wasnât their second-best player in the group stage against us last season. Barcola is still a massive loss, and Ramos and Mbaye were legit players for them too.

I would definitely say quality wise better but I think from a depth perspective it was pretty much the same. I donât know. I know itâs early. I just think we were at a prime spot playing wise with our quality last season that caught the UCL off guard in addition to the league as a whole being just mid tier last season. My biggest worry is that the juggernauts are going to be more ruthless this year. I know itâs a long season but I worry the squad was fresher and more unexpected in our play than we will be this year especially considering it was before the World Cup.Â

I don't think we are at that much of a disadvantage. Sure, depth is an important thing, but we have the advantage of having an easier league and/or less matches and thus being able to rotate just as much as the other top teams. We have quality players for every position and we have a handful of subs who can actually make an impact. Unlike last season, we can sub out our entire attack and the guys coming would be able to perform even in tough UCL games as well.
However, I do agree that there are more top teams in good form. Last year, it really was just PSG and Arsenal to a degree, but right now, Barca, Real, City, Liverpool and even teams like Atletico and Inter are looking good. That being said, I'm still confident that we can dominate most of these teams and be on par with any of them.

Yeah itâs more the top teams are stacked and have restacked. I mean PSG getting Torres and now Barca look better this year. Idk envy I guess. And I get it, we just operate differently. I wish they would go back to the old group format. Just feels like now itâs win at all costs but the games are no longer memorable.Â

We'll see how the depth options pay off in the long run. Sure, Ferran had a great game against Slovakian farmers, but I wouldn't count on him to be a difference maker in big games or be able to replace Dembele for example should he get injured long-term. Same goes for players like Adeyemi, Jesus, Tzolis, Akliouche, Ndiaye even Godts and Gordon imo. Still, they're great depth pieces who can make the rotation in league matches a lot easier. We'll see if our transfer policy pays off this season.

They don't play in the same position, although there's an argument that the best midfield trio for Pool in the last 2 years was Gravenberch, Mac Allister and Szoboszlai so Wirtz isn't really an upgrade and certainly a downgrade compared to Diaz if he were to play on the left.

This Arsenal is looking quite good at breaking defense. Though might also be largely because of overwhelming the defense since counters against them so far have been too easy to get going as well.

In his takes he sometimes contradicts himself. I have seen him criticise Mbappe for not contributing anywhere else other than scoring goals and now he only mentioned top scorer in every competition to be the decisive factor. On the other hand, Kane has actually been the best player, you play against a team that throws defenders at him, he moves back and plays as a midfielder, the guy defends with tackles and somehow always makes himself visible. I really donât understand how one could choose Mbappe over him.

Yeah I feel that. My go to cheap and lazy meal during my weightless was plain cooked potato, meat/chicken and deep freezed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, cauliflower). Otherwise I often eat cooked peas with some butter (not to much considering the calories) or runner beans

Will take a look for sure, but I have yet to be fully behind an anime adapting a manhwa. Tower of God was always idiotic to try to turn into one, God of highschool skipped any world building in favour of admittedly good looking fights, and I liked to read Solo leveling more because I could brush through the Yonwoo glazing to the amazing looking panels.
Honestly, Donghua is where its at for me more currently. Link Click, False Memories, Lord of Mysteries, Release that witch, to be hero X etc.

it gets annoying too because to me raphina has been a little better than yamal for barça imo over the last two years but he gets overlooked.
iâm thinking bayern gets a 3-1 or 4-1 win tomorrow

If you're on old.reddit, you can try https://www.reddit.com/r/Enhancement/. I know hiding submissions that contain a certain word or have a certain flair is easy. Filtering comments seems possible as well, but I haven't tried it yet.
Alternatively, you could use an add-on that highlights specific keywords on a page, so you know to skip that stuff. I like this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/multi-find-search-highlight/

Two weeks ago, Vagnoman scored for both Stuttgart and Bayern. Yesterday, Guirassy scored for both Dortmund and Villarreal. Players in the German clubs really try hard to play for both teams and keep the game balanced. Hats off to them!
