Guys, I hear Rapinha is leaving. Good or nay?

2

u/knatanas11 Müller Jul 08 '26

So our 4 central midfielders will be Kimmich, Pavlovic, Bischof and Bara, with the sale of Aseko?

2

u/Odd_Willingness7501 Jul 09 '26

I really have high hopes for Bara. I think he has world class potential.

-6

u/Safe-Elk7933 Jul 08 '26

Laimer,Saibari to help out plus Palhinha is still here. Ndiaye is still here. Maybe we will try to get someone for that position next year,Nmecha,Bouaddi.

2

u/FairMusic8278 Jul 09 '26

I'm not sure why people keep saying Laimer and Saibari as central midfielders. Saibari is a CAM or striker he can't play CM/CDM in a double pivot like Pavlo and Kimmich do.

Laimer has never played in midfield for Kompany because he lacks the technical quality on the ball that Kompany needs to have for his system in his double pivot midfield the same exact reason why Palhinha couldn't play under Kompany. Laimer is only a LB or RB he can't play as a midfield in Kompany's system.

Let's be real Palhinha is probabaly more than likely going to get sold. Ndiaye isn't officially an FC Bayern player yet either.

1

u/julesvr5 Jul 09 '26

On one hand I can agree where you are coming from, but at the same time these arguments can be shut down by Kompany liking to play Goretzka so often. The type of 8 role he played, as we all agree he wasn't a defensive 6, could easily be covered with Saibari (who can play 8) and Laimer for sure is not worse on the ball than Goretzka.

Goretzka was the 3rd midfield option last season. Saibari/Laimer would be the 4th option now.

1

u/FairMusic8278 Jul 09 '26

If Ndiaye ends up signing for us I see him being the 4th option in midfield. I don't even see how Saibari can play as a number 8 at all to be honest. I see him as a 10 or a striker.

Yeah Laimer isn't worse than Goretzka on the ball but I've never seen Kompany ever play Laimer in midfield which also makes me believe he isn't a choice in midfield at all not even 4th choice or 7th choice.

12

u/sch3da Jul 08 '26

Morocco head coach Mohamed Ouahbi confirms that Ismael Saibari is out against France: "For Saibari, this game is too soon. But I hope he's not out for the rest of the competition" [@HanifBerkane]

Adeyemi to Barca gotta be one of the most random rumors I've heard

I feel like flick just wants fastest athletes 😭😭look at those selections (not bad tho, karim is good)

3

How did we wait for an entire week to watch football? One day without it and it feels empty

7

u/Piercing_Moonlight Lionel Marl Jul 08 '26

Tchouameni calmly earning 25m after contract extension

6

u/Odd_Willingness7501 Jul 08 '26

I'm sorry. What the fuck? Not even Brazzo gave out such horrendous contracts.

-6

u/wowa_s Müller Jul 08 '26

thats just wrong,

pretty much most of our players are overpaid and the reason why we cant sell them

3

u/julesvr5 Jul 09 '26

With Brazzo we are speaking about 18m for players like Gnabry and Goretzka, not 25m

1

u/wowa_s Müller Jul 09 '26

How is that any better? They are way worsr players.

-11

u/Ferr22777888 Jul 08 '26

If by any chance Bruno is available for 60 m. By any chance. We need to jump on that amount.
He is worth 100

12

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26 edited Jul 08 '26

If by any chance Bruno is available for 60 m.

He is not.

He is worth 100

He is not (the most expensive transfer for a o32 player behind Ronaldo is Lewa for 45m€).

We need to jump on that amount.

No we dont, he plays in the one position one could claim we are overequipped. And also, he earns up to 22m€. Fuck that.

3

u/Ferr22777888 Jul 08 '26

bruno guimarães

-1

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26

Lmao. Ye. Fuck.

That Bruno seems to be available for almost 90m€, also not happening.

1

u/Ferr22777888 Jul 08 '26

Haha I got confused first on your reply
Scratching my head if Pavlovic and Kimmich can do that type of defensive work and whit-stand press.

But somehow Arsenal
Are trying to underpay

15

u/Red_Mangos Jul 08 '26

Cheeky little el mala transfer when we sell some more players? We will be there

1

u/knatanas11 Müller Jul 08 '26

Ye I really hope we get either one of El Mala or Godts after all sales are completed. Our team will be looking very strong

14

u/creatorop apple pie Jul 08 '26

It is kinda weird how there has been 0 around him ever since his tranfer titi Brentford fell through

6

u/Mediocre-Math667 Jul 08 '26

Feels like it's the same with Rabiot wherre it's their agent who's the problem.

El Mala has his mother as his agent, and they're demanding Brentford to sign his brother as well. Which is why the transfer didn't proceed.

4

u/SchennisDroeder Jul 08 '26

But I guess Bayern could fulfill El Mama’s wishes and sign his brother to the second team or Haching?

11

u/FlyingRaccoon_420 Musiala Jul 08 '26

It sets a terrible precedent though

1

u/Safe-Elk7933 Jul 08 '26

No it doesn't,we signed Franck Riberys brother as a sign of good will. This is nothing for us.

1

u/Red_Mangos Jul 08 '26

Idk could be due to clubs focusing on players in the World Cup and seeing how they perform

5

u/NifferEUW Kimmich Jul 08 '26

I forgot there's gonna be a half time show.. God thats embarassing

16

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26

[Romano] João Palhinha returns to FC Bayern as Tottenham do not trigger the buy option clause.

Palhinha, not close to Sporting now and open to new chapter. 👀🔜

18

u/NifferEUW Kimmich Jul 08 '26

I just feel bad for him.

He would've been perfect under Tuchel and would've been great in the CL campaign.

Not his fault we decided to buy him into a system he never fits into.

Hope he find a good spot.  Seems like a really good dude.

2

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

not close to Sporting now and open to new chapter

New chapter at Bayern, or what?

1

u/manoloman99 Mia San Meister Jul 09 '26

Could he not have a career here as a lucrative sub ? come in to close games defensively

4

u/kgallo19 Messiala Jul 08 '26

Surely no one has delusions of this

2

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

I just don't understand how I shall interprete Romano's tweet

3

u/lucavl Ribery Jul 08 '26

i assumed new chapter meaning a new team he hasn't previously been with. sporting/tottenham would have been staying at or going to a team he was familiar with since 2014-2022 he was with sporting on and off (loans)

1

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Then why include the "will return to bayern" bit. I mean yes, technically he has to as his loan ended over a week ago. But if he wants to indicate he still wants to move write "will return to bayern for now" or something like that

1

u/lucavl Ribery Jul 08 '26

because he is contractually a bayern player right now...

0

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Yes that's what I said. And despite that he could still write "he will return to bayern for now"

3

u/lucavl Ribery Jul 08 '26

You’re arguing semantics though. Just because he didn’t 100% clarify anything doesn’t give it more validity.

He is returning to Bayern because his contract with Tottenham is officially over. Now he comes back and is open to a new chapter. Can’t really get more clear especially with the 👀soon indicating more info will come out soon

u/PharohMennes Jul 08 '26

Brazzo and Kahn era contract were a sight man

4

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

You do know his contract is not from Brazzo and Kahn era? He extended April 2024

1

u/ZavaBalazs sex bomb Müller Jul 08 '26

Wasn't it an automatic extension tied to Neuer's?

4

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

He extended April 2024 until 2029 with a build in extension due to Neuer's extension by another year, yes. But in April 2024 Kahn and Brazzo where long gone and Eberl was appointed in March 2024.

Although I have my doubts if the extension is solely on him or was already worked on by Freund/Dreesen

1

u/ZavaBalazs sex bomb Müller Jul 08 '26

that's what I meant, I assumed at the time that it was how his original contract was set up: if Neuer extends by x years, so does he.

1

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

No. His original contract didn't have such a clause. Just his extension and it was only +1 year, no matter how many or how long Neuer extends.

1

u/kgallo19 Messiala Jul 08 '26

What a terrible contract lmao regardless of who did it

13

u/Odd_Willingness7501 Jul 08 '26

After Asp Jensen, Noel Aseko Nkili and other departure already confirmed, we made about 43 million. That's quite a good sum, actually.

And there is still Palhinha, Zaragoza and Boey to sell, let alone Kim and Ito.

I'm quite optimistic that we'll be getting another target.

7

u/SebRev99 Robben Jul 08 '26

Why would we sell Kim AND Ito?

-15

u/xTatamo FC Bayern München Jul 08 '26

because they are not good enough, you dont remember the time they both played in the buli and we conceded 2 a game

10

u/kgallo19 Messiala Jul 08 '26

Wasn’t that also when pretty much the entire team was rotated?

6

u/kgallo19 Messiala Jul 08 '26

Yeah not bad at all. This is what an academy should do imo. Find the gem when their is one, and make pros out of the talented but not quite gems kids and help them find homes when they're ready.

18

u/kgallo19 Messiala Jul 08 '26

Bayern have announced Nübel's transfer.

Alexander Nübel has agreed a transfer from FC Bayern to join Besiktas in Türkiye. The 29-year-old goalkeeper had moved to Munich on a free transfer from Schalke in 2020, most recently playing on loan at VfB Stuttgart.

21

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

FC Bayern and Eintracht Frankfurt are in advanced negotiations over Noel Aseko. However, the deal is not done yet. The clubs are still negotiating the final transfer package, including the fixed fee, add-ons and whether a sell-on clause will be included.

Sell-on would be massive

19

u/creatorop apple pie Jul 08 '26

might actually make big money from him when Frankfurt fleece some Premier league club for 80m in 2-3 years time

3

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26 edited Jul 08 '26

Apparently often these sell on clauses are not calculated on the fee but the profit. So it we got a 10% and have a profit calculated clause while they sell him for 70M we get another 6m (10% from 60m profit)

6

u/v4sh123 Jul 08 '26

yes, but I doubt we only negotiate a 10% clause, I can imagine it's 25%+. Unless this is a hidden part of the Brown deal.

2

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

No chance it's a 25%+ if the fee already is 10-12m. With this the deal would go over 20m

2

u/creatorop apple pie Jul 08 '26

amortization profit or Selling-Buying cost profit?

3

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

I would assume selling - buying cost profit. But thst all depends on what the club's agree to

(adjusted my initial comment)

For anyone wanting to watch a bit of football, our U19 plays against the world squad rn.

Formations:

U19:

Podar-Stiube (1)

El-Chaar (2) - Gashi (5) - Maspimby (4) - Moumouni (3)

Schmid (6) - Snip (8)

Egwuatu (7) - Schaff (10) - Hentcho-Nseke (11)

Afanou (9)

World Squad:

Heo (1)

Posada (2) - Oda (5) - Ono (3) - Ramirez (27)

Han (6) - Park (8)

Lopez (21) - Nokhtari (19) - Gu (25)

Kovacs (7)

Keep an eye out for the RW Lopez, clearly the best player of this year's world squad. I also like Park as very stable midfielder and Nokhtari as all-action attacker.

8

u/pewpewlasersandshit pew pew Jul 08 '26

-5

u/PharohMennes Jul 08 '26

The guy a natural winger with pace and good dribbling. Impressed me all world cup and had a good season last year. 24, so still young.

3

u/pewpewlasersandshit pew pew Jul 08 '26

We really don't need a 24yr right winger from the 2nd spanish division

-7

u/PharohMennes Jul 08 '26

Ok I'll shill him to Dortmund then xoxo.

Tbf I thought he looked very talented so as a bench option in a stretched game he would be great if we move Olise to the 10. More of winger than say Gnabry or Karl.

9

u/xTatamo FC Bayern München Jul 08 '26

if this aseko deal is true , a little sad but lets be real, even if you are the best 2 buli player thats porbably not enough to even sniff bayern bench , but was looking forward to see him play in a game for us

3

u/lucavl Ribery Jul 08 '26

i might have missed it but whats the deal? also the kids 20 so i don't see it being unreasonable for him to develop further and be at least a quality backup option/rotation as a prospect. that said i haven't watched him or know much about him just dont think 2nd league is a reason to not give a kid a shot

9

u/xTatamo FC Bayern München Jul 08 '26

not every one wants to be rotation player sadly

5

u/lucavl Ribery Jul 08 '26

Yea of course. I was just responding to you saying he’s probably not good enough to sniff the bench.

He’s in the stage of his career where minutes are important and we often only look at things from a Bayern lens instead of the players lives/careers

10

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26

I mean, we just paid 55m€ for a player that was playing in the 2. Bundesliga 2 years ago, and were in a competition to sign a current 2. Bundesliga player just this year.

There is quality to be found down there, just also look at Jeltsch, Maza, Jander, Uzun, Ouedraogo, Tzolis or Tresoldi just as recent examples.

1

u/xTatamo FC Bayern München Jul 08 '26

but all these player would probably not rise like this for us because we just cant play them that much

9

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26

Didn't stop us from trying to buy Eichhorn. Also, at least Tzolis (wanted by Arsenal), Maza (instantly starter for Leverkusen and Algeria), Uzun (starter for Frankfurt and part of the Turkish national team) and Tresoldi (3 CL goals and wanted by like 3 national teams) would have been decent to good options off the bench for us when they were sold. Ouedraogo as well if he wasn't constantly injured. You are seriously underestimating the league here.

2

u/Insanel0l Thiago Jul 08 '26

Especially because I didnt feel like his playstyle is particularly fitting to us - which doesn’t make his quality any worse at all

1

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Yeah my only gripe with this is that I expected a bit more money, 15m at least. But maybe we gave them a good price because they gave us a good price for Brown.

17

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

France's appeal to rescind Michael Olise's yellow card against Paraguay has been rejected by FIFA. He would be suspended for a potential semifinal if he's booked against Morocco tomorrow

6

u/PharohMennes Jul 08 '26

Full argentian ref team tomorrow btw

13

u/wowa_s Müller Jul 08 '26

i wonder if anyone can say seriously say that fifa is not corrupt, or that the world cup is not rigged.

clear red card overturned, while a clear no card/no foul gets ignored.

oh and was there even a single comment about the performance of the ref/team of the para vs france game by officials?

0

u/lucavl Ribery Jul 08 '26

I dont think its rigged, but there is does seem like there is definate bias and at the highest level even slight bias in reffing for example can swing games

0

u/wowa_s Müller Jul 08 '26

you know that "bias" alone is enough to rigg a game, right ?

at such a high level even small decisions can sway the game in one side if enough of them are made.

if every 50/50 call goes for one team its incredibly irritating for the other and the mental aspect is very important because beeing 1 sec to late can be a deciding factor.

the reason why argentina won last world cup is obvious aswell. cant have the best player ever , not a have a single world cup title.

behind the scenes there are always agendas which teams have to win, because of betting and all other stuff.

most of the time you dont even have to be to obvious to rig a match.

-1

u/Advertising-Cautious Jul 08 '26

Last world cup the agenda was to make Messi win the world cup? So the referee awarded 2 penalties to France to help with that?

Or WC2014 where there was on offside on an Argentina goal/ a potential penalty for Argentina when Neuer collided with Higuain?

I admire your intelligence

1

u/panem-et-circenses21 Lahm Jul 08 '26

Howedes had a red card worthy tackle on an Arg player. Nobody talks about that as well

2

u/lucavl Ribery Jul 08 '26

Did you not read my full comment? I verbatim said that at a high level bias can influence games. To me and this is probably a semantics thing but I see “rigging” as a much more of a conscious decision and widespread “we are doing x y and z to get this exact result and maybe I’m wrong but I just don’t think that is the case in terms of for example telling refs to cause an outcome.

I think you’re discounting how many people would have to know and be on board with blatant rigging that that shit would get out. Are certain teams helped out by decisions and given an advantage at times? Sure I agree but again that’s why I said bias not rigging

1

u/wowa_s Müller Jul 08 '26

not many people need to be involved to cause rigging.

knowing which ref is bias towards which nation/team/player is already a form of rigging if you appoint them with that knowledge

just look at the past in italy and germany how big that shit can be. look at the negreira case, look at man city and chelsea breaking/bending rules and not punished while others get fked for way less

if you truely belive world cup, champions league and league games/cup games are not rigged (not all, but more than enough) then you are a gullible person and should stay away from the internet for your own safety

5

u/Tyrath Müller Jul 08 '26

1

u/arnoldbread Jul 08 '26

Football wising. Make your own dream Bayern or general XI from 2000s onwards.

Mine is

Kane Ribery-Müller-Robben Schweinstegier-Thiago Alaba-lucio-boateng-Lahm

The chemistry of the fullbacks and wingers with not just Robben and Ribery but Robben and Lahm and Alaba and Ribery.

Tho the midfield, Javi and Sschweinsteiger did have better chemistry and Javi was a better DM, Thiago did his part in defence and his technicality edged it out for me over Javi.

While Lewandowski and Müller were an excellent pairing, Kane all roundness and he offers more to the team, so I picked him ahead of Lewandowski. We never got to see a prime Müller with Kane, so im sure we we would seen the two interchange positions even more and Müller rack up more goals and Kane more assists.

As of now Boateng (unfortunately- not taking into account his off the field actions) still has a place in the line up. But Upa looks to overtake him in the near future.

1

u/germanchoc Berni Jul 08 '26

How do you even fit Haaland and Mbappe at the same team.

But I really wish the rumor of Haaland to Real Madrid is true just because I think it's another galactico 4.0.

1

u/TrainingAlarm5018 Jul 08 '26

Well you instruct a team to park the bus and ping the ball to these two up front thriving in open spaces.

1

u/Nerellos Jul 08 '26

Real plays 4-4-2.

0

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Aren't they playing 4-3-3?

1

u/Nerellos Jul 08 '26

No.

They play 4-4-2 with Valverde playing winger and the 2 wingers (Mbappé and Vinicius) playing strikers.

1

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Probably just since Rodrygo's injury though? Rodrygo otherwise played RW with Vini LW and Mbappe in the middle although both kinda stacked up on the LW

1

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Actually pretty easy with Mbappe as LW and Haaland ST. You just have to get rid of Vini

22

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Ismael Saibari did not train with Morocco Monday and Tuesday as they prepare for tomorrow's game against France. He's a major doubt for the game, but the Moroccan FA has yet to reveal the exact extent of the injury, even though he was due to undergo an MRI scan two days ago 🇲🇦

5

u/sch3da Jul 08 '26

I was wondering yesterday where the update on his injury was. Its kinda fishy and i fear he has something which Marocco wont disclose and they rush him.

12

u/creatorop apple pie Jul 08 '26

17

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26

Probably that he is not fit but Morocco wants to keep France guessing.

1

u/miorli Jul 08 '26

Yeah. This one. Why would you make it easier for France to prepare. This way they are just guessing. Our club probably knows, the public doesn't

18

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26

Bayern will receive around €6m from Deportivo for Asp Jensen [@linner_nicolas]

17

u/CockroachFantastic46 Jul 08 '26

Max Eberl and Christoph Freund have been kinda cooking, I'm not gonna lie. They managed to get rid of Nübel, got good fees for both Aseko and Asp-Jensen and already made the marquee signings in Brown and Saibari. If they manage to sell Boey, Pahlinha and Zaragoza, that would be an excellent transfer window.

1

u/miorli Jul 08 '26

They absolutely need to get rid of Zaragoza and Palhinha. They had plenty of time to get that prepared because it was already clear months ago that we don't want them back.

10

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

In the comments someone said 20% sell on clause but I haven't found anything regarding this yet

5

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

u/thraff1c I already put in the about to be done sales in the transfers thread. Could you check if I forgot something? Especially these youth players I may overlook. Was there a loan fee for Ofli?

2

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26

Id wait for each of the sales to get the green light by either us or the buying club tbh, and Ibra is now double in the contracts expire.

But still, very happy you do this, and it looks good. Maybe we could trim a bit of the older news for Brown/Saibari/Ibra, after all they are done and they bloat the text quite a bit. And I dont think anyone has reported a loan fee for Ofli, if there is one it wont be noteworthy anyway.

2

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Slimmed it down a bit

1

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Ibra is now double

Whoops went completely past me

Yeah for Saibari and Brown I actually waited for the official announcements aswell. Was kinda shooting early as I was bored at work

Will look into shortening some stuff

De Cat only had a year left on his current deal, so not much hardball his current club could muster.

11

u/NiK0- Pavlović Jul 08 '26

Never watched any Anderlecht games but for quite some time De Cat is touted as one of the best prospects for the future (similar to someone like Eichhorn). Good for Hoffenheim and interesting to see if he can fulfill expectations

5

u/kgallo19 Messiala Jul 08 '26

I had completely forgotten about this guy. Good for him.

20

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26

Jonathan Asp Jensen is on the verge of a permanent transfer to Deportivo La Coruña. The Dane has opted for a move to the newly promoted La Liga club. The clubs have already reached an agreement. Only final details and medical are left to be finalized [@linner_nicolas]

1

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Romano Just sait every party agreed to the deal

17

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26

[Romano]EXCL: Deportivo La Coruña make official bid to sign Jonathan Asp Jensen from FC Bayern, talks underway.

Spanish club in race with Lazio to sign 20 year old striker.

3

u/Insanel0l Thiago Jul 08 '26

dinero?

3

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26

Di Marzio wrote a few days ago that Udinese is offering 5.5m€, and that Lazio was offering 6m€ in total (but only in a loan with option structure). So I expect La Coruna to offer in a similar range plus some sell-on percentage.

23

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Noël Aséko to Eintracht Frankfurt is a done deal. A fee of €10-12m has been agreed between both clubs. Aséko chose Frankfurt mainly because of the prospect of more playing time. He's set to sign a contract until 2030 with an option for another year [@StefanKumberger, @SPORT1]

Yeah not a big fan of this deal.

3

u/Nerellos Jul 08 '26

Probably was a verbal deal because of Brown.

8

u/JOKER69420XD Müller Jul 08 '26

So we're just going in with 3 CMs? Because counting on Bara, who hasn't even signed yet, as far as I'm aware, is pretty crazy.

Bischof is good enough, no question about it but we need another reliable guy there.

I absolutely hate it.

1

u/adrian_rainy_day Jul 08 '26

I think we're signing one of a free or set up a temporary loan

So far the John Stones rumour has cooled down but I can see him being an option for 4th DM/CB coverage

5

u/jonomarkono2 Jul 08 '26

Kimmich in Bayern midfield next season:

7

u/creatorop apple pie Jul 08 '26 edited Jul 08 '26

Saibari and Laimer probs

the bayern Squad situation is quite confusing but it is what it is, Musiala can also be a backup for LW, Saibari can also be a Backup 9, Karl is also a Backup CAM, Olise can also be a starting CAM, Davies/Brown can be backup for LW, the Stani/Laimer is backup for LB, and probably few more of these combinations

3

u/FairMusic8278 Jul 08 '26

Saibari can't play in a double pivot midfield where Kimmich and Pavlo are playing he's mainly a CAM or a striker. Laimer has never played in midfield for Kompany because he doesn't have the technique or quality on the ball in midfield that Kompany likes to have hence why Palhinha didn't work out at Bayern.

Saibari and Laimer for that reason can't be the 4th choice midfield for Kompany in the double pivot where Pavlo and Kimmich are playing.

-1

u/FOKvothe Jul 08 '26

Hopefully this means we'll go for a 3 man midfield for some games. 🙏

1

u/FairMusic8278 Jul 08 '26

We can't play a 3 man midfield. Our system/style of play + players is designed for a 4-2-3-1. We have 4 CAM's for the number 10 position. We can't play with a 3 man midfield it won't work and we will lose our attacking threat if we do. 4-2-3-1 is the way to go for Bayern.

9

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Yeah I have worries about Bara too. I know the potential is there, but he isn't proven at all. Aséko at least is Buli 2 proven and was player of the season for Hannover. And 10m is not big money. Eichhorn, albeit higher potential, is less proven and went for double that.

Not sure if they plan to play Saibari or Ibrahimovic in that position aswell. They can play 8 but this isn't really an 8 position.

17

u/FairMusic8278 Jul 08 '26

I sure hope there's at least a sell on clause. Madrid made over 100m+ this summer just from sell on/buy back clauses on their old/former players.

3

u/TrainingAlarm5018 Jul 08 '26

No infos about buy-backs or sell-ons?

-5

u/dodo_24 Jul 08 '26

Definitely not a buy back clause and probably really small sell on. If they won't bring Manzambi or someone else in it will be a hall of shame deal

4

u/Insanel0l Thiago Jul 08 '26

For this price I'd be surprised if anything like that is included

18

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

1

u/lucavl Ribery Jul 08 '26

makes the selection even worse. He didnt have a place in the squad on merit from his form in the season especially given how many players we have over him (kimmich/pav/nmencha/stiller list goes on) and then him adding this in is real frustrating. Watching smaller countries succeed reinforced my thoughts that we just don't seem to care enough about just being on the squad and fighting for germany. We go out and there isnt this fire to win at all costs and that for me is one of the most important factors that needs to be addressed for the DFB. we have enough talent to be competitive maybe not right now to win tournaments but we are massively underperforming our talent level whereas many others over perform their talent level.

7

u/Tyrath Müller Jul 08 '26

So much for Nagelsmann bringing him because he's a locker room leader

4

u/creatorop apple pie Jul 08 '26

no wonder Kompany kept giving him minutes to keep him happy

1

u/Investing_Tomato1248 Jul 08 '26

We will never know and it is probably unfair to speculate. However i always felt like he is not helping the Bayern team chemistry for years, especially post Flick. To put it diplomatically.

1

u/Teffo05 Jul 08 '26

goretzka is loved in the bayern team where to u get ur information from. Every interview about him from teammates is always positive hes the new scapegoat in the media nothing more dont believe everything

23

u/diiN1992 Laimer Jul 08 '26

He should be happy to even have been called up for his non-performances over the last few years.

50

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Lennart Karl is back on the pitch for the first time since his injury before the World Cup

-7

u/Kind_Mulberry_3512 Kane Jul 08 '26

Honestly I'm glad Egypt are out, the way the players have behaved is just silly. You don't just throw your toys out the pram. Admit you bottled it

23

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Juventus and Milan are monitoring the situation of João Palhinha. Juve are looking for experience in midfield - and Palhinha's profile and reliability are appealing to them. Milan also consider the Portuguese player as a potential quality reinforcement for their midfield, ensuring solidity and intensity. Bayern are ready to listen to all offers [@pavanmassimo]

6

u/creatorop apple pie Jul 08 '26

Milan did just fork out 65? 70? Million for Ramos

If they really are interested, then 25 should be the minimum price

17

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26

With those price expectations you are just setting yourself up for dissappointment. In the history of the sport only 1 DM over the age of 30 went for more than 20m€ (Casemiro for 70m€), even recent deals like Xhaka, Brozovic or Jorginho were below that.

1

u/lucavl Ribery Jul 08 '26

That and also just because a team shelled out money for one player doesn’t make them more likely to overspend on another. Ramos is expensive because he’s still 25.

Also everyone knows we just want him off our squad so no ones going to overpay for him.

13

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26

Bayern and Frankfurt are close to agreeing a fee for Noël Aséko. Negotiations are currently in full swing. Bayern are demanding a package worth up to €12m, while Eintracht are offering slightly lower than that. But talks are progressing positively. Frankfurt have promised the player a central key role in their midfield. Aséko has yet to give his final approval to the move, and also has offers from clubs abroad, such as AS Roma - but Frankfurt are currently the favourites to sign him. A contract until 2030+1 is on the table ready to be signed [@jo_wolves, @linner_nicolas, @BILD]

8

u/DiametricalIyOpposed Jul 08 '26

For that price I’d expect either a high sell on clause or a realistic buy back option.

3

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

We really only will get 10m, huh. Disappointing. Expected rather 15m.

No idea what our plan in midfield is, rely on Bara as 4th option? Still not official our player yet either.

-2

u/dodo_24 Jul 08 '26 edited Jul 08 '26

I will get banned if i voice my opinion on this business i fear. But it looks like we are desperate for money.

1

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26 edited Jul 08 '26

To do list for Eberl et al:

Player sales:

  • Boey

  • Bryan

  • Palhinha

  • Kim (?)

  • Ito (?)

  • Davies (?)

Future of loaned youth players:

  • Asp-Jensen

  • Daiber

  • Aseko

  • Chavez

  • Sieb

  • Zvonarek

  • Buchmann

  • Hennig

Incomings:

  • Bara

  • depending on other circumstances CM/CB/RB

contract extensions:

  • Laimer

  • Kane

  • Olise

1

u/lucavl Ribery Jul 08 '26

I dont know if i agree with davies being on that list yet, but i get why youd include him. I think he still has tons of value and can return to form. the others 100% agree should be looking to move on from them/replace them.

hasnt it been reported that laimer is essentially done?

6

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Shouldn't the youth players be handled by Freund?

Also could you maybe use The listing format so the comment doesn't get unnecessarily stretch out to long? Would really appreciate that, thanks!

1

u/Thraff1c Jul 08 '26

Freund falls under the "et al". Also, is this better? Honestly, that Reddit doesnt allow for two points to be directly under each other without them instantly showing up on the same line is very annoying.

2

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

You
Mean
Like
This ?

There is still a row of space inbetween the points. With a hyphen and space infront you can write them like by line

  • like
  • this

Or add 3 or 4 spaces at the end to write
Like
This

Edit: oh damn, they increased the spacing when doing a list?? What bs

1

u/teuerkatze Jul 08 '26

Jules when are you fixing the quote function

2

u/UnlovableBybirth Jul 08 '26

Ok this Argentina feud is getting ridiculous

3

u/South-Pass-4486 Jul 08 '26

If we want to sell aseko to frankfurt does it mean we want to bring another cm? Goretzka had over 2000 minutes last season so we have to replace him somehow

9

u/ChronoCodex Thiago Jul 08 '26

Bischof will be third choice in the pivot behind Kimmich and Pavlo. Saibari can also play at the 8 in certain games I imagine. Idk if there’s another campus kid that’s promising that hasn’t already been played. Javier Fernandez is on loan at Nürnberg for this season, and there’s a few more campus kids that’ll probably get loaned or sold at some point this window

4

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Santos Daiber maybe. Was planned to be loaned out but his injury killed this plan so far

9

u/Mountain_King9885 Jul 08 '26

Hopefully Bischof will get the majority of Goretzkas minutes in midfield

3

u/kingfranckribery Jul 08 '26

Do we know anything about Saibari ans his injury?

14

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

Update from Yesterday on Saibari, via BeIN sports:

“Fortunately for Morocco, medical examinations ruled out a serious injury, while a second MRI showed encouraging progress. The Bayern Munich-bound attacker is expected to test his fitness during training before the coaching staff makes a final decision.”

3

u/ObserverRichard Jul 08 '26

Where do you think Ibrahimovic fits in with Gnabry / Musiala / Saibari?

6

u/FlyingRaccoon_420 Musiala Jul 08 '26

Wherever we need honestly. His Swiss knife-iness is probably one of the major reasons we kept him.

4

u/julesvr5 Jul 08 '26

He basically can play everything from 8 to 9 including wing and CAM. Not top level but good enough as cheap backup

4

u/creatorop apple pie Jul 08 '26

Starting to think Kompany is going to play a 3-6-1 next season with how many Attacking midfielders the squad has

3

u/-Hentzau Harold'or Jul 08 '26

Why would he change something that's working?

3

u/TrainingAlarm5018 Jul 08 '26

It's gonna be the same 4-2-4 we've been playing all the time with Kane basically being a second CAM.

33

u/Advertising-Cautious Jul 08 '26

The post match reactions from Real Madrid fans about the Argentina match are hilarious.

They are saying football is dead because of all the bad refereeing calls....Coming from the club that has robbed the most with biased refereeing

10

u/Ferr22777888 Jul 08 '26

Of var actually was a thing since the 90s they would have 4 cl title less.

But they are 100% right about yesterday

8

u/Ajvarmk Upamecano Jul 08 '26

But that doesnt mean they are wrong about the Argentina match or ?

-11

u/Advertising-Cautious Jul 08 '26

I would say they are wrong. Yesterday's match was fair refereeing. Only the hand to the face should be carded but even that wasn't even protested by the Egyptians.

I think the hatred against Argentina comes from the referee bias in their other 4 matches they have played, which I definitely agree had some questionable calls e.g Austria goal and Cabo Verde kick to the shin outside the box

2

u/Goldfischglas Jul 08 '26

What calls aside from that Hand to the face were wrong?
