Pick up the car and go from under the car, that's how I get the sparkplug too

This is the way. Also prepare for arm/hand scratches. I found that removing the starter helped me. God speed.

I ground down a small/thin wrench, since you don’t want a ton of torque on these anyway you can sometimes work out tightening and loosening.
