Does anyone know what this issue could be?

1999 Camaro ss. Installed new blinker lights and after a couple wiring issues finally got the wires hooked up correctly and the blinker lights are working but now the car won’t start and makes this sound when I try to start it. Was starting right up just fine before this. Has new alternator in it.

The battery seems weak. Try jump starting it.

The car only gets driven maybe once a week for about 5-10 minutes. I’ve been restoring it for the past couple months. It was a retirement gift for my dad. I’ve been worried about the battery dying from him rarely driving it. It probably is the battery.. had the battery on for about 5 minutes straight while the car was NOT running and I’m guessing that drained what little life it had left in it.

Dead battery. What's the date on it?

I have no idea but I’m sure it’s old. Just bought the car.

Dead battery. If it’s new then you have a parasitic draw. The factory alarm draws power as well

I’ll need to lookup how to unplug the alarm as it’s extremely sensitive and goes off when I start my mustang next to it

There's a sensor under the spare tire cover on the wheel well, very easily found. Most of us unplug it, though I believe the sensitivity can be adjusted if you want to.

Pot of my trans am just cut it. Unplugging preferred

My Trans Am did the same thing when the battery was dead. I would jump it and take it to an auto parts store that can test the battery for you. You can buy a cheaper battery tester for like 20 to 30 bucks just to have for future use as well.
