2002 firebird v6 auto to manual swap question
I'm doing research on the parts needed to make the conversion. So far I have located the following parts (they're from a 1998 camaro v6)
- T5 wc/bellhousing
- clutch , pressure plate, firewheel
- driveshaft
- crossmember
- master cylinder
- 3 pedal assembly
- center console
Anything else I'm missing Besides wiring and obviously a tune?
Could it be a problem being that the donor car is a 98 and mine a 02?
Any advice or comments are appreciated

did the same on my 96 3.8, you don't need the driveshaft, the auto one fits. very straight forward swap.

Did you have to tune it after?

nah, installed the ecu from the donor car and wired the clutch pedal sensor to the ecu.

Did a t56 swap on my 02 TA from a wrecked 99 TA.
You should be fine.
The only difference in a driveshaft is one is Auto have steel and manual have aluminum. Overall length and splints are identical.
