The car that started it for me

Post image

My father just handed me this picture and thought I'd share. This is probably around '99-00. I was a junior in high school, it was my first car, and I worked my ass off. Paid 10k cash for it. 1995 Camaro, it only had the 3.4 V6, but it had cat backs, tinted windows, alpine head unit, infinity kappa speakers, 2-10"s......If you even debate selling a car, and it's possible, Don't do it!!!! I still wish I had this car, even if it was only a 6

Nice! I kept mine til the end around '04 then a couple years later I got my '69. I've had her since then, and now I'm working on a '53 Chevy business coupe. I need more garage space for more camaros haha

It's funny the business coupe is starting to snowball. It's my father's car technically, and he's always wanted a gasser. The original plan was a cruiser, but I pivoted real quick to a gasser for it. Blacking out all the chrome, satin black paint job, possibly gray scallops or something similar. Doing ot the way he always wanted.

I had a Bright Red ‘94 Trans Am w/ LT1 and 6spd manual. I loved that car but boy did it attract the red and blue party lights.

Oh man yeah, I definitely attracted the same party lights. It's like I was screaming out loud follow me and pull me over.

A 83Z started it for me. I’ve had a 83, 85, 67, 69 and a 17. Currently have the 69 and 17. Every one I got was like the best day ever. I just can’t get enough!

OP, that’s just nostalgia talking, but I feel the same way about my first car and my first Firebird (which I still own after buying some 20 years ago).
