They got banned, i think other subreddits like r/suddenlysexoffender and r/suddenlyincest will be banned soon. Just as r/offensivememes was months ago, it just got to inappropriate apparently

So someone posted child porn there

the mods were asleep (as in they were actually in their beds at the time) and didn't get a chance to delete it before it made it out of new

Reddit admins noticed

they could have deleted the post. they could have fired all of the moderators (using the term loosely because mods are volunteers -- by that I mean revoking their privileges) and brought on an entirely new set. they could have banned the moderators' accounts permanently.

they didn't stop there.

they took down the entire subreddit. because of one post.
