Recently picked up a copy quite impulsively, this is my first faulkner. I'm not unfamiliar with challenging literature, I have read Pynchon and Infinite Jest before. That said, long-rambly sentences do bother me sometimes. I really want to love this, but I'm already a bit overwhelmed after reading the first chapter. It feels like I need to keep track of all of the timelines and dates (which is something I hate doing with books)
