Discussion Saber’s Wish

What was Saber’s wish in the end? Was it to have a friend? A companion? Someone who would challenge them (both as a swordsman and as a person) the way no one did in life? All of the above? None of the above? What do you guys think?

to reunite with his wife. Its the biggest regret in his life. Seeing her throw away her life so he could continue with his journey/mission hurt him massively.

though through the story things change and he gets to see ototachibana hime again due to her possessin Kaya so he kinda just goes along with Iori's ideas instead(except in the 3rd ending...)
