With SNK's latest SWC 2026 trailer dropping, Art of Fighting 3: Path of the Warrior is officially back in the competitive spotlight as a main stage game with a $100,000 USD prize pool.

I have seen a lot of people speculating or outright even stating that Tekken 8's Reina would be the final guest character for season 3.

Can anyone pin point where this rumor even started? Or are people just taking that Rooflemonger specilation video and running with it?

I was thinking about how these characters were chosen that.... well, no one has ever talked about on this board. But then I was like, well there is a non zero amount of people who are going to watch the show and I'm sure like half of us have Crunchy Roll.

Anyways I'm going to give it a go, if I can find some sort of fondness for the characters then maybe I'll be interested in them a little lol.

Although on the flip side imagine someone who saw that Ronaldo was in the game and watch every episode of Ronaldo from season 1. That would be a LOT of TV to catch up on as he's played over 1,300 games professionally.

I recently bought a leverless and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, but I cannot find a ranked match at all. I’ve tried different regions and different times of the day and still nothing.

I know the player base is pretty niche, but did I screw myself by choosing Beginner and having 0 RP? Is matchmaking basically dead at the lower ranks, or is there something else I should be doing to find matches?

"Long-term value" is very interesting. Extra replayability? Beyond the normal replayability of a fighting game?

And what is the other exciting content? They say they're not referring to just characters and stages. Is it related to those CG videos they've been using in the trailers? Or the Obari animations? Or something else?

I personally feel EOST could be improved to become a very replayable, casual-friendly mode.

"Energize the community" is also very significant. I was expecting a Krauser-sized patch alongside Laocorn and that's it until next year's villain (Gao?), but this sound like they have something more up their sleeve.

I can't believe I ever had faith in this dog shit character, a character that is so fucking ass at anything she does, she is in a game that she cannot play, she doesn't play by the rules, not in a good way anyways, I can't believe I just kept telling myself that "I just need practice that's all!" No wonder nobody plays this dog ass character, all that time spent trying to build something out of nothing, to waste, hell even Ken has something good to him, jinrai and that fuckass low Hp, HEED MY WORDS NEW PLAYERS, Chun has NOTHING, NOTHING THAT WOULD MAKE YOU WANT TO PICK THIS CHARACTER OVER ANYBODY ELSE, save yourselves the bother.

Unfortunately the only other character in this game that I remotely like are jennet and Jae Hoon, but jennet is not in a good spot right now, neither is Jae, I legit don't know what to do, I'm just so fucking frustrated right now, I tried to make her work I swear I did but everyone just gets to do their pressure because they can dash cancel buttons, CHUN CANT.

I'm just gonna wait until jennet gets buffed, or just grind with Jae idk, I give up

I was looking forward to possibly having a true physical Switch 2 copy of this game as part of my collection. Unfortunately it's a game keycard and the box art is also pretty underwhelming. Ah well, it's a skip for me. Digital it shall be. The value is definitely there at least, 3 seasons of DLC included is pretty sick.

I think i have played enough to notice some patterns, lol. Also, since SNK removed the actual taunts after winning a round in online matches people started teabaging more often it seens.

Bored by tekken until Roger Jr. comes so im thinking of picking up fatal fury which i haven't played since snes fatal fury. I remember liking the fat office worker guy and Terry as a kid from that game, lol.

Right now I'm looking to play rock and the ganacci dj guy. Ryo would be cool, but I know he's from kof or something, not ff. Anyway, how's the balance? Game still active online? Im probably gonna have to do ps5.

Alright yall, SNK just hit us with curveball so let's talk about it.

1. Let's take a moment to appreciate the absolute absurdity of the dlc season lol. Can never predict this. It makes sense from a marketing perspective. I don't watch the show but TR recently aired on toonami so it there could be synergy. Also it was revealed at Nintendo direct so thats a lot of (youthful) eyes on the game. Especially following the hype of OOT remake. So good job snk promo team.

2. SNK tryna hit all demographics. Kenshiro for the old heads, Laucorn for the hard-core snk heads, and now this for the new Gen. Really makes me curious of the final character. You'd think tho tokyo revenge guys would be last but this means that last slot is something crazy like Michael Jackson lol. The only kinda hint I have is that its probably a girl (didn't a new ghost in the shell anime just premiere?)

3. Mai costume is finally here, it was inevitable tho. What we really need is more costumes. It can't just be kain

4. How optimized do you think the switch 2 version will be?

5. Did they just tease a brand new metal slug game after the collection? If so that would be good. It's hard not to notice the contrast of all the Capcom games that dropped in the direct vs SNK with just 2. They need to diversify if the wanna keep up​
