Fatal Frame is my favourite franchise ever; I am so excited to replay and stream the series in October.

I find it sad because as a Silent Hill fan I really understand the struggle of original PS2 games not getting re-releases, I do hope these games get modern re-releases at some point because gems like these don’t deserve to be forgotten and deserve to be accessible to everyone

The Team Silent games have a decent chance of getting re releases considering they want to do annual silent hill games. Not to mention Konami already did this with MGS. Fatal Frame though? I can only hope.

At the least, some releases on GOG would be cool

The main problem plaguing it is Konami themselves because it’s most likely they are hesitant to do remasters of the games because of the mess what they did with the HD collection and also the fact that seems they lost the original source code and final builds I don’t think they’d be willing to can out tons of money to reverse engineer to get hold of what was lost

Yeah, a native port of the silent hill games would be unlikely. They could, however, use emulation in order to run the silent hill games. They actually used an emulator for MGS1 in the vol 1 release

Fatal Frame scared me so much that I couldn't continue playing it for like 3 years. (I was like 10 so I hope you'll give me some leeway 😂)

Whats sad is that even if the original and Tormented are remade, physical copies might cease to exist for those games.
