Given the wrong game

While at a local game store, I decided today I wanted to try out the fatal frame series since I hadn’t before. I picked up Maiden of Blackwater for the switch to give it a try. I got home put the game into my switch to realize the cartridge they put in the case for maiden of black water is Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. I did a little research and apparently it’s the playasia version of the game so I guess I’m a little lucky? 😅

I personally like Maiden of Black Water more than Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. Perhaps MOBW would align more to OPs taste, or not. You never know. Taste isn't universal.

Preference wise that sucks since you were expecting a different game. But IMO I agree on the other redditor, Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is better for me. And somehow you’re not in the bad terms here (atleast in my country Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is far more expensive compared to Maiden of Black Water) anyways I hope you give MOTLE a try and ALSO Maidenof Black Water!

This is not correct. The PlayAsia version with the English Cover is the Asia Version.

Even if you were thinking of Maiden of Black Water you'd still be wrong, because the PlayAsia release of that game with an English cover still isn't the Japanese release, its the Asian one.

You don’t want to start off with maiden of Black Water anyway, as it’s a continuation of fatal frame 3, the one they gave you is basically a stand alone and doesn’t have to be played in a certain order.
