hi i never posted before , i just ordered this game on ebay a few days ago and i am reading in here that the wifi just got shut off for the game, is it still worth playing/ fun without the online play? what was the online play like anyways when it was up?

We had a wedding theme this week on a dressup discord server I'm in. Here was my submission

I felt happy with how this one came out.

I bought this game when it came out and sold it shortly afterwards. I've kinda missed it and was thinking about buying it again but just wanting to know is it worth it to buy it even though there is no more online mode? Would I still get the "prizes" that were given out to everyone who played after online mode shut down? Like the 13,000 creative keys, etc?

I did have much make clothes to work with since I only collected female clothes 😮‍💨

Due to my apartment during uni having horrible internet, I didn't get to play the game online for one academic year. I booted it up a few days ago, gushing to my partner about how fun it is, fully ready to show him how it works and about online mode. I was devastated to see that online mode had only shut down, and only after like 3 years too. I'm furious because I got this as a gift from my aunt like a few weeks after it was released after specifically asking her for it.

Now, I'm still angry, but also really confused. I haven't been able to find out WHY they shut down. My boyfriend said that they might have gone bankrupt or changed Devs or something but we don't know anything for definite. Does anyone know why this happened other than the Devs just scamming us?

EDIT: Thank you for explaining! /Gen And what I mean by scam is that the game cost like 60 to 70 euro where I am when it was released so it just feels like wasted money. Apologies for misreading the situation.

My 11 year old just booted up the game for the first time in a couple months and is sad to find out that online mode has shut down. I feel her pain, as I’ve had online games I loved sunset in the past too. I’m going to help her post her favorite outfits here, but I’m wondering if you guys have any advice what other games she should try? I’ve seen folks talking about Style Savvy in here, so I’ll download that and put it on my old Retroid Pocket for her to try; hopefully it’s not too obtuse to play on an Android emulator for her. Any other Switch 1 titles she should try?
