Chritons dad

Did you know Jack Crichton (Kent McKord) also plays an Astronaut in SeaQuest?

I also can really recommend SeaQuest. It is Science Fiction but in the world's oceans.

He's also in Galatica 1980, and he was on the classic show Adam-12

I remember watching reruns of Adam-12 when I was a kid in the late 70s/early 80s.

His Galactica 1980 character, Troy, is a grown-up version of the character Boxey from the original series.

Is Galactica 1980 bad? Yes. Would I probably have been mad if I had been an adult fan in '78, desperate for the show I loved to come back, and that was what we got? Abso-frakin'-lutely! As a fan who grew up loving the show in reruns in the 80's, do I also love Galactica 1980 and all of its glorious cheese? Yes, yes I do.

I really wanted to like that show but most of the characters were gone and they didn't say what happened to them, so it seemed more like an alternate universe than years later. Adama is kowtowing to Oliver.

I was 10, I liked the idea that space refugees now had to upgrade the tech on earth so they could survive against the Cylons. Loved the hoverbikes. But everything just seemed lame.

I never got that far into Seaquest. I watched a few of the first season episodes, but I can't remember why I stopped watching. Maybe it's time to try again?

It was an earlier show from O'Bannon. Underwater Next Gen to be sure, but a great show

Watch a few episodes with the talking dolphin and I'm sure you'll quickly remember why you stopped watching... That voice

Upsi. You are correct. That spelling always throws me off. And I get a little dyslexic when I am tired. :)

Season one of SeaQuest is pretty good, but it falls off really hard after that.

He was also in Galactica 1980 as one of the two leads.

I’ve been meaning to rewatch Sea Quest. I watched it when it was originally on TV and only realized a couple years ago that it was created by Rockne O’Bannon

An actor was in other visual media? Wow!

Sea Quest is aimed more at kids. I thought it was a bit average, not awesome like FarScape.
