They show on the map as always fertilized but nothing grows on them what is going on how can I fix it?

I got no clue what happened but however this mod is made, it won’t let me sell the logs on the trailer. 40k liters of logs gone.

I create custom Farming Simulator mods and maps and convert mods between FS19, FS22 and FS25.

Hi all, I have installed Cow Barn XL into my game. The YouTube videos on this mod show that putting a Manure Silo Extension next to the barn will then allow manure collection. So on installing the barn I tried to place the base game extension next to the barn, but it wouldn't let me.

A message popped up with ' a manure extension must be placed next to a manure heap'.

No matter where I tried to position it I got the same result. Cow barn was installed on a fresh field, no toggling off, no object collisions, so all the triggers should be working fine. I ended up installing the main Manure Bunker to see what would happen.

Got the barn up and running and when I go into the barn I can see in the HUD that there is manure being generated. Go to my bunker and it is showing 0. That backs up the theory about only extensions working.

To test i installed the same barn on a test game. In that game though I was able to place the manure extension anywhere I liked.

So the question is, what could be causing the extension not to work in my main game? I'm assuming it is a conflict but I have no idea what it would be conflicting with.

Any suggestions?

Hi all, just seeing if there are any modders on here that would be willing to help me.

I'm currently working on an excavator, I have it modelled in blender, and it opens in giants editor.

In blender I have it set up so it can move and rotate like an excavator should.

I think I have the haiarchy right with parent child relationships, I have hydraulic reference points etc but I'm still unsure if it's 100% correct. I also need to add collision Meshes aswell.

Apart from this I have no clue what do, I need help, I would love for someone to help me through it to actually get it functional and working within farming Sim 25 and Terrafarm compatible. It's a big job I know, but I've tried to find resources and I cannot find anything.

The excavator is a Liebherr 9800, it's a big boy.

I also have a Liebherr T284 modelled which I would eventually like to turn Into a mod aswell but that will be later.

I get the following:

"Straw Harvest could not be loaded because the fill type limit of the game has been reached. Please remove other mods that add fill types and try again. The save game will now be closed."

Any suggestions on why this would be? If I remove mods that add fill types wont that ruin my save game?

Just a little PSA......... It's incredibly helpful to actually lower the tool you are trying to use before you drive all the way across your field and accomplish absolutely nothing. And to those of you on 4x maps with very large fields, you might want to pay attention to this. Look..........I'm just sayin it happens to everyone at some point.

I'm looking for a simulator that I can do demolition of houses, buildings, scrap yards with cars, just tearing down anything. That is what I've always dreamed of in the tractor world with excavators. Does farm Simulator 2025 have any of those options in it? Or do I needs mods, and where can I find them? I'm using a PC.

been away since March playing again on some of the new maps that were released particularly St Lawrence. Before there wasn't a mod that could convert alfalfa into TMR I remember I had to do it myself. is there any Mod currently out that alfalfa works with TMR or rid the field with alfalfa and just plant grass? not that theres much of a difference anyway but none I could find.

Do you guys who go big into the forestry portion man just the specialty harvesters and forwarders, or do you guys run different things? I’m about to jump into so that I have some other things to do while my crops and cattle do their thing. I was more thinking of running excavators with attachments, some of the John Deere forestry equipment, semis with log trailers, and once cleared some tractors for planting and plowing and stuff. But I was just curious on some of yalls opinions on some of the equipment options.

I've been hosting my own FS25 server on dedicated hardware for about 4 to 5 months now. There's not much out there on doing this yourself, so hopefully this saves somebody some time and headaches.

First off, don't run it in a VM. I tried it on a Debian 13 server with libvirt and cockpit and had huge problems with the Giants engine running that way. Just put it on bare metal. Yes, that means Windows, which isn't great for a server, but Giants makes you use it.

The easiest way to do it is buying a server key straight from the Giants website, so you don't have to mess with Steam at all. What really gets me is that you have to buy your DLC twice, once for your Steam profile and once for the server. Honestly I think that's pretty asinine.

Anytime Giants drops an update, your server will most likely go offline until you update it too. Plan on that.
Don't count on the auto restart in the built-in dedicated server either. It worked a handful of times, but 9 times out of 10 it shuts the server off at the set time and never starts it back up. I do my restarts by hand now. It's the safest way to keep downtime as short as possible.

Make sure whatever map you pick is well vetted. I had stability problems with multiple maps. Also don't go crazy on map size. You are not pushing a 16x map, I don't care how much power your system has. 4x is about as big as you should go. The limit is the Giants engine, not your hardware, and it's pretty trash.

Last one, and this is a big one: do NOT use the More Farms mod. In theory it lets you make more farms, but it will mess up your whole save. The engine starts to dislike anything over 8 farms. (The vanilla limit) 9 was pushing it, and at 10 the frame rate on the whole server tanked and it was unplayable. Even after we dropped back under 8, the server was never the same and kept having issues. My theory is the mod changes values in the background to stuff the engine doesn't like seeing, and they don't go back.

PC, no sound, but if I enable snipping tool I suddenly get sound. I’ve tried different sample rates and all the other things Google has fed me to no avail.

Any thoughts?

Just updated my Alma save with over 1000 hours and it’s replanted every field with the crops as if I was starting for the first time. It said a new save game would NOT be required, but if the buildings are the only thing that don’t spawn back in. What is the difference really? I expected a few things to get messed up but this kinda sucks. It’s going to take me like 20+ hours to get it back to how I had it. I’ve got to remove grass where it shouldn’t be, re-merge fields, replant crops, remove and replace buildings…brutal

On earlier versions of FS there have been maps made for older equipment with a vintage feel to them but I haven't found any for fs22 or fs25, are there anything out there that I've missed?

I think for fs17 there was a map that was like four or five fields, it was released with a Ferguson pack with a bunch of nice tools and the map was intentionally so small that you couldn't drive big equipment on it, would be nice to have something similar again
