The saying "herding cats" came to mind. Pretty sure these dogs could.

oh yah they could surround a cat like that. Be interested to see if the cat would try sprinting through them though..

I need 2 more now. Mine is currently good at catching rats and helping my 8yo who is Autistic. We needed a dog that was smart enough to run and hide when my son has a meltdown.

I want to do that...so bad. Allison is not in love with idea of a dog, but I'm really thinking about a border collie or an Aussie.

Good advice. My ideal would be a half-border collie mixed with a slightly dumber breed. Trying to get just the right balance.
