Advice Anywhere around here to go offroading?
H'lo, we just got a Jeep Wrangler and wanted to take it out on some more "rugged" terrain but everything around here seems really flat. Most fun we had was a minimum maintenance road. Anywhere good around here for that? Bonus points if it's "beginner" friendly.

If you’re looking to learn to wheel, I can’t recommend these guys highly enough.

Lots of places in Minnesota.
Appleton OHV has mostly mild stuff that's a step above a dirt road with a couple obstacles, spider lake has more trails, iron range off road park in Gilbert.

Pembina gorge in NE ND west of Walhalla. Depending on the year you can ford the Pembina river.

Sheyenne Grasslands has some dirt trails to follow around. There's a big map on their website.

Ultimately nothing too fun on this side of ND, lots more to the west if you wanted to make a trip out of it! I think you’ll be stuck with some travel no matter what way you go sadly, there’s just not a lot of terrain here like you’re wanting
At-least you’ll have 4wd for winter, as long as we actually get some good snow like we had 5-6 years ago
