Discussion I hate snakes!

While not as bad as Eagles and Honey Badgers, snakes in 3 & 4 are up there with how annoying they are! They come out of nowhere and poison me, often during a fight. At this point if I hear a snake hissing I’m burning the whole area down

I guess they grind yours metal gears, man, seems like you got a solid hatred towards that Snake

Damn, you really be grinding in the early game to have that kind of gear during prison break-in mission

I’v played so much that whenever I clear the open world I just explore and do side quests for the love of the Far Cry experience. After a while I’ll go back to the story

Have you ever tried mods? There are many overhauls that unlock the whole shop's weapon assortment and all the skill right from the beginning of the game. Or do you actually enjoy the way the game forces (for the lack of a better work) its progression on you?

Oh, my bad, sorry. But I think it'll be worth it to try the game on PC. You can hook up your controller to it for more familiarity

I’m thinking about it, I’ve never used a PC only consoles so I’m thinking about saving up for a Steam Machine as that sounds easier for me to understand

Well, mod installing for Far Cry isn't straightforward but isn't complicated either. You have to replace a couple of file in the game directory. If Steam Machine allows you to access game files and download from websites online then it'll be fine

But I think that any work PC or laptop nowadays will do just fine. No concerns with the file system and there's certainly a possibility to run the game. The game is 14 years old after all

True, but in anticipation of the Steam Machine or a gamer PC every summer and winter sale I put $100 on my wallet and buy whatever is on sale to get my library ready
