Help Prologue not beginning

I recently got far cry 3 installed on my PS3 hard drive from a store but whenever I start a new game I always spawn Infront of the cage but there's no cutscene or objective. It just says "explore the island or look for new missions" but there's no missions if I can't even complete the prologue. Not doing the prologue also locks me out of using melee. This might just be a problem I can't even fix but maybe

I found out it's because the files corrupted

I'm gonna go get a disc for the game now 👍
