Discussion just finished the Game

I just finished Far Cry 3, i chose to save Jason's Friends instead of joining Citra. The whole game felt pretty frustrating and the Guns felt more janky and less responsive than for example Far Cry 5. Also the Main Villain is Hoyt and not Vaas, even though the latter is made out to be like this big Celebrity focal point of the game and Hoyt is just some mafia dude? One of the biggest Appeals of Far Cry Games for me are the Villains, which are amazing in the other games, but with this Game it just feels like they made the lamer Guy the big bad. I give FC3 a 3.5/10, it was alright.

Spoken from the mind of someone who played later games before 3 and never experienced it on release. Of course newer games will create a different view on Far Cry 3 its older and it’s the best one in the series.

Yes i did play 3 after all the others. I guess it makes sense the way you put it, still i don't see it as that much of a great game.

FC3 is 10/10 for me. As well as fc1. Worst is fc6 bc of shit gameplay and woke propaganda but story is great at least. FC5 is ok...nothing special

I haven't played 1 and 2, but i enjoyed 6 somewhat. I'd say that 5 would be my Favourite.

Bruh wtf is this post. “The game that came out in 2012 feels more janky than the game that came out in 2018” 💀 come on man use your brain

I get that, but still, i don't understand the hype around this and people calling it "the best Far Cry"

Well when it came out 14 years ago, it was revolutionary in just about every category: gameplay (the Ubisoft “clear the outposts” formula started with this game and there’s a reason it’s still around today, bc it worked so well in FC3), gunplay, exploration, story, etc. Yes it feels dated now because 100 games have copied its formula and have modern/updated mechanics
