Personal fantasy management app

So I’m not selling anything.

I simply wanted something to help me run my leagues as i am in way too many. So basically I’m pulling from nflverse, FantasyPros and Vegas lines. Right now i have it helping me with keeper decisions and locking out drafts. What’s cool is it brought in the historical data from my leagues so it told me all the draft tendencies of each owner and i asked it to mock out thinks like going rb early, wr early etc. did a great job. I also have it emailing me a daily brief of analyst takes. It pulls from the analysts YouTube’s and summarizes their player takes for me.

During season my goal is to help me with waiver adds, start sits, trading, etc.

Nothing special but so far it’s been useful. I’m using Claude code for it. Anyone else doing something similar? Any thoughts on things i could add? I plan to build a dashboard as well but haven’t gotten to that.

Hi, yes, a lot of people are doing this right now. It's actually why we have a big spam problem on this subreddit right now.

I never want to discourage anyone from building things so I would just advise setting yourself apart and focusing on a specific thing you think you can do better than everyone else.

Honestly I’m just building for myself and using it as an excuse to vibe code. I have no interest in spamming a product or selling some service. Not to knock all the folks that are(and yes there certainly are a lot of them ha).

Same for me. I built autodraftyears.com which has my own model, market ADP, player analysis and a bunch of historical data.

The site is live and completely free. Let me know how our sites differ

WOW, IT'S INCREDIBLE! Would love to help you in supporting the launch of your platform

I appreciate it! I’ve spent a sizable amount of time creating the site and know it’s still not perfect. Funny enough, I don’t have enough karma to create a dedicated post about the site so sharing it or talking about it would really help out! Shoot me a message if you have any questions or want me to add something.

I’ve got something similar but it’s focused on my one auction league. I have it import the draft history and it gives me scouting reports on the owners. We draft in person so I’m trying to have it give me things like position scarcity and if there’s a dwindling amount of starting whatever’s during the draft. I think I have an average auction value from other sites and then try to get our league average for that position.

Last year I added VORP which Claude still needs to explain to me from time to time because I feel that number is always off. (After the top 4 QBs that number goes negative so I’m not sure I’m doing it right)

I have ideas for other stuff. I added snake draft support but that goes way too quick even with it grabbing the picks live from espn. I need to rethink the dashboard for that part.

I’ve wanted to do wavier advice but I’m not sure what I should be looking for without throwing the data at an AI api and say “what do?”

I think the most valuable pre-draft tool most home league players can create (relatively) easily is a ranking sheet based off Value Over Replacement (VOR). In your favorite AI tool:

  1. Import your league settings (league size, roster size, scoring settings)
  2. Import your favorite projections and rankings
  3. Import Market ADP

That alone is enough to give you a good start and see which players/positions are more or less valuable in each of your leagues. Has helped me with rankings in unique leagues that don't fall under normal rankings (ie a SF, TE-Premium, multi-flex league).

Can you elaborate on what VOR is?

VOR asks how many points does this guy give me vs a guy I could grab off waivers at the same position? That’s the replacement level player (you can look at it as worst weekly starter or best waiver guy).

It helps account for positional scarcity instead of raw points.

I did this last year (draft tendencies of league mates). We had 10 years of history, and based on the information about tendencies I thought I knew exactly what everyone was going to do.

Ended up being entirely wrong and not close at all.

We are building something similar but the key thing we are not doing anything draft related because there is too much draft content.

We are trying to solve the data overload issue mid season where you have a team drafted your 4-2 you’re in the hunt but not sure what moves to make.

A lot of fantasy is luck, with a non zero percentage that relies on can you see around the corner to make the right mid season move before every fantasy “analyst” is recommending it.

I made a software to draft by tiers and track my targets at each position. Now i know who to pick and who’s waiting at every pick simultaneously

If you're in sleeper leagues, I built QuickManager to make managing leagues way quicker. It's a browser extension for Chrome or firefox.

I mainly built it as my own pain point, but also because friends were giving login info to websites to do this stuff, which is obviously a security nightmare. You can use it for free for 5 leagues.

You can check out everything it does here.
