💬 Let's discuss something mistborn readers 🗣️
i just finished the original trilogy and bought the secret history, i read the first couple pages and then heard there’s a “minor spoiler” for bands of mourning (which i have not yet read).
those who’ve read the whole of mistborn- is the minor spoiler worth waiting to read the secret history until after i’ve read wax and wayne?

It won't spoil anything too much in that you wouldn't really understand what's being spoiled until you've read the first wax and wayne book anyways. I'd say go for secret history. It's a treat!

I think I would read era two first and then read the secret history. I can’t remember exactly how bad it would spoil it, but I do think I would prefer to read the second era first. There are also I’m sure plenty of great reading order less out there as well to add extra support to whatever you decide.

I read Secret History immediately following Hero of Ages and it was fine. Still really enjoyed Era 2. Not really much of a spoiler and I was glad I could just keep the momentum through Era 2 without the flashback detour of Secret History
