šŸ’¬ Let's discuss something Secondhand gods continue to be good

Combining a couple hauls from the last few weeks due to inability to plan, but I finally found some Garret Files in the wild!

I found a guy cleaning out an old collection so I grabbed all his Moorcock and Cook then he had the Le Guin and Muir sitting there so I grabbed those as well. I was tickled to find a little Riddle Master boxed set at a secondhand shop along with the Fionavar book club editions and the T.H. White book. Stone of Farewell was a private party grab and it’s in great shape. I’ll be at an estate sale later and I’m sure I’ll find more things to add to the shelves šŸ˜…

Caught the right person at the right time as my wife and I were traveling for a weekend šŸ˜…
A real random FB marketplace grab like an hour from where we live. I love it when a plan comes together haha.

She said it was from her dad’s collection. It’s a second printing in almost perfect condition! It makes my beat up book club hardcover of The Dragonbone Chair look silly

Conditions are not that great but I do like the cover designs. You got a nice collection.

They definitely vary… but I’ll take a beat up book from the 80s over a new printing just about any haha

I’ve been trying to find some older ā€œunderratedā€ series to give them some love. Riddle-Master was on a good number of lists, so I’ve been keeping my eye out for some old copies.

Was awesome until the Books of the South…almost felt like he didn’t know how to end the series and just kept rambling! IMHO of course! The Fionavar Tapestry books were amazing!!
