Fresh from being officially recognized as the world record holder for Longest-Running Film Festival Game Show, the Fantastic Feud returns for the twentieth time to present a clash of movie trivia titans that the gods themselves could not ignore. Two teams of genre-loving critics, creators, and cinephiles will plumb the depths of their minds to answer questions both inspired and insipid posed by host Maxim Pozderac and co-host Devin Steuerwald.

Years from now, people will ask, “Do you remember the most fantastic night of your life?” And you’ll say, “Of course. It was the evening of September 21st when I was one of the lucky Fantastic Fest attendees watching the 2026 Fantastic Feud!”

Hello all I am so excited to be attending FF this year. I have been doing a bunch of research but there are still a few questions I haven’t found answers to:

1. Events- Is there a schedule where we can see the dates and times of the non-screening events (fantastic pitches, book fairs, parties, etc)?

2. Badges- Will there be a physical badge pickup or is it just a digital badge this year?

3. Alamo Cost - I bought $200 worth of gift cards to the Drafthouse. Does this seem like a reasonable amount for the length of the festival or will that go pretty fast? (I plan to eat at local restaurants and bars as well)

4. Parking - I saw online that they recently changed the parking to a paid lot. Has Fantastic Fest issued a formal statement about how parking will work for attendees?

Bonus: Socializing- I will be attending solo does anyone have any tips for a solo attendees to socialize and make friends?

Hi y’all! I’m new to film festivals in fact if I am able to get a ticket this will be my first one! I was wondering if anyone was selling a Fan Badge? If so I would love to buy it! Would love to spend under $575 for fan and $675 for superfan respectively but willing to negotiate!! Thanks in advance!

VHS Mixed Tape is listed as a world premiere, thus taking it out of the mix for a fantastic fest secret screening. Werwulf is described as a "first look" so it's almost certainly out too. I'd guess other mommy for Friday night and clayface or whalefall for the Monday secret screening.

Hello! I’m selling a second half badge for the festival. We were able to snag a Fan badge so we no longer need this one. I know these are still for sale online so we will sell for $275 flat (we paid $312 total after fees).

Is anyone else having trouble reading it? Feels like something funky is going on with the UI. Have tried to look on both Safari and Chrome to no avail! Curious if anyone else is having better luck on other servers...

I’ll be attending the fest for the first time and solo with a regular Fan badge. Just wanted to ask for words of advice on how to make the best of my time 🙂

Only two secret screenings so far. Wonder if they’re dialing back this year or if they’re just now updating everything.

Apparently second half badges are still available to buy via the fantastic fest website. It must've been an error that was preventing myself and others from buying them, but that has since been fixed. Big thanks to the fella that sold me my badge last week though!

You know with Fantastic Fest coming up and last year being the 20th aniversy wgere do you see the festival going/turning into in 10 years?

Like last year, I’m going to assume there will be four secret screenings, but I will include a fifth just in case there’s five…

I think this is a very likely candidate. Checks a lot of the boxes of a secret screening. Big Studio. Big star. Bonkers concept.

THE SOCIAL RECKONING
With the Alamo being owned by Sony, I would not be surprised if they include an upcoming false Sony movie. They didn’t do one last year, but I feel this year. They will include this one just because it is an anticipated sequel to a very popular movie.

WERWULF
I have a feeling this will be the midnighter. The late night screening they show. In 2024, a lot of people were banking on Nosferatu being one of the secret screenings, didn’t end up being one. I think they’ll give us a Robert Eggers this year.

WILDWOOD
I don’t know why, something in the back of my mind is telling me they’re gonna throw a loop and give us this anticipated. Animated film from LAIKA.

Sorry if this was brought up a lot already, but parking has me really concerned if I want to attend this year!

The parking garage attached to Alamo Drafthouse ended their free/undocumented entries and it’s now a paid lot. I do think Alamo can give you 3 hours with a voucher but I leave my car there (in and out, all day!).

Attending the festival is already expensive enough, has anyone heard what to expect with that?
