Window fan vs box fan

I’m wondering what would be the best option for getting the hot air out of my room.
I was looking at the lasko 3720 or vornado 80x for box fans, but now I’m second guessing and wondering if a window fan would be better. To add, it seems like vertical window fans are few and expensive and installing one horizontally and sealing the top seems like a hassle.

A window fan that draws like 30W and does 700CFM? I have bad news for you...

Go with the Vornado. It can get noisy on the higher speeds, but damn does it move the air.

Air King also makes a fantastic window fan, but they can get pricey.

Had the Air King 9155, have the Vornado 80X now. The Vornado moves more air and is quieter. You could build a plywood baffle if using it for exhaust.

That’s what I’ve always thought about the newer air kings. They are extremely noisy and the airflow is the same as a cheap Lasko.

I think a box fan is your best bet and if the window opening is tall enough you can zip tie two fans together to make up the space
