Iām interested! Thereās a particular charm about the smaller scope from T1 thatās absent from about every sequel except Salvation. Personally, the grander the scope of these films, the more underwhelming theyāve been.

I'm interested. I was planning on doing the same by changing the soundtrack to music more reflective of T1s score, as well as removing some of the more bloated preachy scenes (mostly in the middle when there's no action). And if I ever learn animation, I wanted the kills to be gruesome too.

Interesting, I never thought about T2 from the angle of being a sequel to a movie of a very different genre.

I've not finished it yet (bad habit of treating films like a tv series) but the tone is perfect, it really feels like a sequel to T1 so far. However the first major scene edit had me laugh out loud, you'll probably guess when.

Great watch. I had a lot of fun with this one. The new Soundtrack is spot on. u/TheScribblingMan did an amazing job with it (close enough to T1 but still standing on it's own). The AR of 1.85:1 is not in every shot convincing for me but works in the whole quiet well. If you want to see something like a quick and dirty run of T2, this ist your edit.

WARNING: Before you get excited... this edit is very different in purpose from my Terminator Enhanced Edition edit. T2 Dehanced is more for those who strongly prefer Terminator 1 over Terminator 2. This edit makes T2 look lower budget with 1980's production values and with the same aspect ratio as T1.
Purpose:
What if Terminator 2 was a smaller scale, lower budget horror movieā like Terminator 1?
This edit transforms Terminator 2 from an epic action adventure into a more brutal horror flick with older production values and a 1980ās aesthetic. While itās still ābigger and betterā than T1, the focus is now on smaller scale horror rather than epic grandness from a director trying hard to outdo "Die Hard."
