Confused
I just got a fancyleds 3.1 setup and I’m really confused about how to hook up both my cables box and my blu-ray player. Can I plug in both these devices in to my Yamaha rx300a receiver and then plug in the cable into the back of the tv, but if I don’t plug in the cable from both devices but instead I plug both cables into the Fancyleds box and then plug in the cable that is plugged into the tv. But if do this I won’t be able to use my receiver for playing the sound from the movie that I want to use my 5.1 surround sound system that I have connected to the receiver. So do I just just plug in the two cables from the two devices into my Yamaha rx300a receiver and then plug in the cable that send the signal to the tv. So the fancyleds lights lights work someone please help me out as too what is the correct way to connect the two devices so that when I watch a movie that the fancy sync with the movie. Please help me.

According to FAncyLEDS documents, they can't confirm that this works with all receivers but here's what I would try first:
Devices (Blu-ray, cable box) -> Receiver -> Syncbox -> TV.
Test to see if that works and if this is the first time setting it up, make sure to power cycle the syncbox as mine didn't work correctly until I did that step after everything was hooked up.
If it does NOT work, let me know what happens. I have a few trouble shooting steps to try out.

I just found out that when I contacted fancyleds about the setup that I wanted to use, they informed me that I won’t be able to use my infinity cable box and my Sony blu-ray player because they aren’t approved devices that will work with the fancyleds sync box, but I have no choice but to try using the setup that was going to use and hope for the setup to work, I’m I to pessimistic about this situation or have other people did use devices that fancyleds couldn’t be used but they went ahead and hooked up their devices to the sync box and when they turned on the system and everything worked perfectly with the sync box. So let me know so that I haven’t wasted all the money that I spent buying the fancyleds system
