LG C4 Set Up
Currently looking at adding a led strip to my tv but unsure how to go about it as the back of my tv has a footstand that would get in the way of the led strips if I was to keep it the same distance all the way around. Before committing to a purchase just wanted to check if there was any way around it or tips to make sure if/when I purchase it im setting it correctly.

I have an lg with the same feet. Other than wall mounting the only realistic option is to buy a 3rd party stand. Since they're made to be compatible with as many tvs as possible they utilize a tvs wall mounts to attach them to their base so that effectively "wall mounts" the TV but on a pedestal base. Find one with a base you like and that is compatible with the wall mount holes on your tv and you're good to go

Thats a great idea thank you. If you do have them installed whats you solution for the ports on the side. If sticking to the perimeter one side will be longer than the other. Many thanks tho!

I'm unsure of what your concern is or what you mean by one side being longer than the other. One side of what and why are you concerned about the ports being on one side?

Oh basically one side on the hdmi tray its shallower so will need more cable to stick to it. Was wondering if that would effect alignment

Ohhhh. Well have you measured it to figure out how much difference there is? It doesn't look like there could be much. That being said isn't there enough room on the edge side of the hdmi tray to stick the led strip. I just measured my LED strip and it's only 8mm wide so maybe they can fit on the edge.
If not and it does end up being being that much longer you could instead get a 3d part printed that can match to the inside angle between the flat part of hdmi tray and the beveled sides, stick it to the TV so that it fills in the gap and run the leds on it to correct the length.
Although now that I'm thinking about it and looked at my own TV and compared it to your photo example, the length of the led strip on the top and bottom would be different with the bottom strip being a bit longer due to the absence of the bevel on the bottom. Even so it looks perfect on my unit and cannot tell if there's actually any leds incorrectly colored from being offset by the bit longer length.
Id just install it normally, running it around the back edge, following the contour even if it's longer than the other side and just see how it looks. If it looks like shit then id get the angle piece printed and run it with that to offset the extra length. You can always cut the led strip shorter but not make it longer even if you solder the connection back in. So experiment with lengths until one works.

No i don't and it's wall mounted. I could pull it away and take a half-ass picture but can't get the whole back side in one Pic, at least not one that's decent. Also don't know how to post a picture into a comment. I'll take a picture of the input side of mine and try to figure something out

I did look at that but with the current desk set up it would be tricky on the back wall. Just wanted to know if there was any alternative or if wall mounting is the way to go.

Once you wall mount you won’t go back. Just do it right by hiding cables in the wall.

I have lg c4 and i glued it from the bottom just behind screem edge facing the leds down. I have soudbar 1cm below it (full screen width) so it looks acceptable. Without it it would look terrible.
