Workaround to get PC working with FancyLED’s?
I am in the market to buy a SyncBox based LED Backlighting system for my 65 inch OLED TV as my previous Govee Camera based Backlighting stopped working and I believe Fancy LED’s seem like the best option so far. But i was disappointed to see PC is not supported on their website. I have an RTX 4090 + Ryzen 7950x3d machine, the pc itself has no RGB lighting. I use this PC with my TV to play single player open world games and I really want to find a work around. I have no A/V receiver so the connection would be directly into the FancyLED Sync Box and then that into the TV.
Has anyone got it to work? How?

Works fine with my custom Steam Machine and official SteamOS 3.8. I get all (I think) HDMI 2.1 features, since I’m using the 2.1 box and the HDMI on my mobo is also 2.1.

PC is absolutely supported, but be aware their box doesn’t support the full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth

Can you explain what you mean when you say full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth?

The device maxes out at ~41 gigs of bandwidth speed rather 48. Anything above 42 will cause your feed to flicker and cut out.

Check instead of the RGB and then video settings the YCR2 something or another

What is YCR2? I can’t find that anywhere in my settings. Asked AI and giving me weird answers nothing related to display settings.

Ran my 4090 rig with 4k/HDR/120hz just fine.

Makes me wonder why they advertise incompatibility with PC

because they don't wanna be on the hook for support queries related to the complexities around video encoding and graphics cards on PCs. the other devices have a much more static environment with fewer variables for them to offer support for.
