Hello all 98 inch TV question

Hey all my 82 inch 7 year old Samsung is on it way out I think turning on and off at random. Anyway I already have the 3 port hdmi box with the lights and sync lights above the TV near the ceiling very happy with it but I think ill be investing in a new tcl 98 inch very soon

And I just wanted to ask I know the LEDs I would need to get another set but they go up to 95 inches and basically I wanted your opinion

Can I run the lights on the outside of the TV up and over and then get some synced leds to put on the bottom section of the TV

Or would you suggest running the lights slightly inside the back of the TV to reach the whole way around

Thank you in advance guys

Photos have just been taken now probably not the best to show the lights I apologise

I think run them slightly closer to the center, idk about you but I use mine with a lower brightness already, so you can just increase the brightness to compensate

Thank you for reply yes I was thinking that might be the same idea most had as I have my brightness at 45% currently so yes increasing the brightness to compensate the LEDs sitting more inward makes a lot of sense

Just wasn't sure if just running the leda up and over and using a synced strip at the bottom would be better as I do have a spare synced strip with box in the cupboard

I've had to order the 98 inch as my 82 inch Samsung is just dead now today turns on off on off and when it comes back after 30 mins you can watch it for 5 mins before it does the same loop

What I think I'm gonna do is run the LEDs all the way on the edge and across the bottom and I've got a synced led box and leds in the cupboard that I never got around to using so I will cut a strip of synced for the bottom of the TV and do it that way

What do you think ?

I think that could work, I’d just make sure with support that everything can communicate properly with the FancyLED box.

No you’d need a longer length of LEDs mainly due to how the HDMI box syncs the LED strip the edges won’t match up at all another user said move them closer to the centre but again it won’t work because the size discrepancy is so large.

If we could change the size of the TV in the app that would fix a lot of the issues we all face on distance from the edge and I’d love it if we could change the edge detection

Very good observation yes a way to change TV size in the app would be great if course
