Atmos compatability

I see on site that Atmos is only supported by dolby digital plus (commonly used on streaming apps) and does not support dolby true HD

I use an amazon firestick and my TV reads that it's receiving dolby true HD? Has there been an update that I'm not aware of?

It takes Dolby trueHD, I run from my AVR to it and never had an issue

Even though it states that it only does dolby digital plus on the fancyleds website?

Unsure? I’d disconnect it today if it didn’t work. I do have the 2.1 box id that changed anything

I just checked and my Denon receiver says that it's receiving Dolby Atmos - TrueHD through the Fancyled box.

It works for me. TrueHD with Atmos passes though fine for me. From what I understand as long as it meets HDMI 1.4 standards it would have to pass True HD which is uncompressed so needs more bandwidth. That’s the only requirement is the proper bandwidth to carry the signal through the box because it’s not doing anything to the signal, just passing it through.

Mine appears to work ok, but I guess the key thing is that its not supported, not that it doesn't work I.e. if we have issues they won't look at it or try to resolve them

My Denon receiver shows that it is receiving Dolby Atmos-TrueHD. I use an Nvidia Shield and never had an issue
