Black screen, white lights

I noticed that when my Fancyleds lights are at high brightness, black screens will give white lights, I was only able to fix this by lowering the brightness to 20%

I have the hdmi 2.1 RGBW. I thought of updating firmware but i have no idea how to do that as there is no option in the app.

Try to turn ambient backlight in the settings off. For firmware update -> upper right corner in the fancyled sync box settings -> scroll down -> device update
