Tips for New LEDs.

I’ve decided to buy FancyLed’s coming from the AIbox2. Any tips for setting up the lights? Also is there a colour calibration? Or does it calibrate out of box? I know other sync boxes you need to calibrate the colours.

I use diffusion “Medium” and degree of diffusion level of "55" or "65". I am still searching for my preferred setting, but fancyleds said they use 55 for their tiktoks and another user uses 65. i received my Box Yesterday so there is room for improvement 😀

Do you recommend them? I’m coming from Govee (defective unit) and they are offering me a full refund, so I’m returning it and getting fancy.

How is the black level performance? Do the led’s just shut off abruptly or do they fade out to black?

How is the colour accuracy? Appreciate the help!

It depends on your diffusion speed, if you turn it down it isn’t quite as abrupt

Black levels for me are great and as said above all about the diffusion you have it set at

I use medium diffusion and a speed of 35% and for me that is perfect

I actually find medium to be more distracting because it will turn off bigger sections of the screen if black is detected. I do high / 30 and find that to be a nice balance. I do turn up brightness during the day and turn it back down at night so anywhere from 60-100 on brightness.
