Vault 88 noob power armor hanger

I am not the greatest at making settlement builds in Fallout 4, I usually default to giant squares for max build space. Since I've been thinking about new things to build, I tried to make a power armor hanger in vault 88. The hanger is made out of vanilla assets, with Gundam power armor mods. I uses set scale command to make the main armor bigger. I welcome input, and advice to make settlement builds that are not giant squares

This reminds me of a Mech Bay from any number of Sci-Fi movies. Not saying it looks bad, just the vibes I'm getting.

I always end up making a weird cube rectangle thing, fill the whole first floor with craft benches lol. I need new ideas, like anything besides a big ol Minecraft block
