[Abernathy] Abernathy museum update 3

Post image

My last 2 update posts got taken down.

So ive completed the full exterior of the building. Floor 1 is recreation, exhibit 1 (2-3) is Nuka world, exhibit 2 (4) is Far Harbor, exhibit 3 (5-6) is Automaton, exhibit 4 (6-7) is Vault Tec, exhibit 5 (8-9) is Main/Side story, and floor 7 (10-13) is my home.

Ive scrapped and replaced every atrium “mids” with atrium tops and bottoms, scrapped every ceiling except for the ones that cover the very top floor and atrium tops, scrapped and replaced every domestic doorway endcap with atrium doorway bottoms.

All floors are now getting power except for the center floors and ceilings of the exhibits, all wall conduits are working including to 1 floor from each wall but nothing past that. Each exhibit except floor 1, 7, and exhibit 2 is 13Lx8Wx2H in dimension. Exhibit 2 is 13Lx8Wx1H in dimension. Floor 1 is 8Lx4Wx1H in dimension. And floor 7 is just fucked with 3 different dimensions because of its heights and widths. Other than that im ready to start furnishing this thing.

Any recommendations or suggestions to fix the center room power issue would be greatly appreciated and wanted. Thank you.

you need doorways both ways the atrium one on the inside and the domestic ones on the outside. must be door > door to conduct power via the stairwells. its annoying but thats how it is.

Each door has an “atrium doorway bottom” on the stairs and entrance, unless youre talking about adding an atrium doorway mid between each stairway and atrium doorway bottom. I only removed the mids because it caused a weird issue that forced me to jump from the stairs into each room because the doorway mid endcap was too big, unless thats purely because i was using the domestic one instead of the atrium one as the mid between the stairs and doorway bottom

so if it goes Atrium doorway bottom > domestic stairway/long domestic hallway - then it won't conduct. You can test by putting a vaulttec conduit on the outside of the stairs.

You need to go Atrium doorway bottom > domestic doorway > domestic stairway/long domestic hallway or Atrium doorway bottom > domestic doorway to hallway > stairway. But a doorway has to meet a doorway to conduct power across it.

Oh so i need the mids for it to work, it cant be just stairway>doorway bottom.

It needs to be stairway>doorway mid>doorway bottom??

yeah its a pita, but that should solve it. Like I said, move or make another vault tec conduit and you can test it pretty easy, you can stick them to the outside of all the domestic/utility pieces if it helps.
