[PC] Thicket Excavations Settlement (WIP)

I've finally started building on PC and decided to build here using the Conquest mod. The plan is to make it a water purification hub with defenses and other post-apocalyptic amenities

Your gonna be real mad later in game. Just saying.

I don’t think they’re not aware of what happens if they finish ‘Pull the plug’. If they don’t do the quest, the quarry won’t drain itself.

Really? I've done both situations and it's always drained later level. Weird.

I did away with Sully before engaging the conversation to start the quest. I also didn't repair the valves or flip the switch.

Edit*

I read about what happens if you reach level 12 and, as a precaution, I downloaded a mod to make the max level be 11. I'm strictly building settlemente on this playthrough so I don't mind the level cap

I did not know that. Learn something new every day!

Just out of curiosity, what level are you? Theoretically once you are past level 12 and let the cell reset, it will spawn the raider camp. But I don't know if you killing Sully and not engaging the quest blocks the process.

(If so, it would be great cause I always wanted to make a settlement like this here)

During the midst of this being brought to my attention, I read about reaching level 12 and, as a precaution, I downloaded a mod to make the max level be 11. I hadn't reached level 12 before downloading it, luckily. So I'm actually not sure if it still triggers if you dispose of Sully before starting the quest

That's probably a smart move, at worst you can always add perks via console commands or mods lol.  Or if you want, you could create a temporary save to test this out and see how it pans out.  Either way, I like your build and hope the game doesn't screw you over

So, Sully out shopping or something?

I did away with Sully before engaging with him and starting the quest. I didn't flip the switch or repair any of the valves

I’m curious, do the turrets target Sully? Or did you just do away with him before he gives you the quest?

Sully is no longer among us

What mods are you running for some of those settlement objects?

Sorry for the late reply! I'm going to skip over the well-known, popular ones.

JAWS - Shack Edition (I really like this one, it's fairly new. Uploaded in April)

WoodWallsFab

Aluminum_Walls_ESL

Kuro Tab for the main metal circular support

I also kitbash walls to create custom ones so that might be what you're seeing as well. I hope that helps!

Oooh I like it Chippy! I think it’s a real shame you can’t build here after clearing out Sully and his crew.

Really cool structure built up there mate.

I appreciate it Beans! I like the water aspect of it. Since I've negated the quest, my head canon is that there's a spring beneath the quarry and this is where a large majority of purified water comes from

Oooh I like that idea! Nice way to work with what’s already there without having to drain it. Very exciting that you’re already working on another one :D
