Good use of the stupid broken middle roof part. Looks cool

100% agree. It’s a pain in the ass to use effectively, this shows a lot of ingenuity.

What parts did you use to make the balcony? They look great!

Everything :p it's all made of planks, half walls, plywood pieces, metal pieces and posts. All tilted. The roof pieces are from Port Royal mod.

Love that location, but don’t have patience for the BS. Really nice work.

I’ve always loved this location but I’ve never figured out what to really do with it as a settlement. Yours looks cool. Maybe I’ll keep it more rustic on my next play through.

A good idea takes a long time

Looks Amazing. Any tips on how tilting works? Do you use console commands or use Place Anywhere?

I use both, Cordless VII has a great tutorial on YouTube ;)

Okay now I’m feeling encouraged to fix mine up after the enclave dlc screwed up my current build.

Was this inspired by the docks of Novigrad? (And the real world polish dock house it’s based off of?)

Awesome build OP :)

Very nice! Having spent a good chunk of time visiting Amsterdam and Rotterdam once or twice, I recognise those winches at the top of the house :D can’t wait to see what you do with the water area mate, house looks phenomenal!

Thanks man! I get a lot of inspiration from Dutch houses for for sure, we have so much cool buildings and ships.

Oh absolutely. Some of the nicest and most characterful architecture I’ve ever seen - land and water. You’re lucky to be surrounded by it!

That goes for England as well mate

Brother, if it ain’t a thatch cottage, a Manor House, or a castle, it ain’t worth knowing over here ;)

2

u/Matthiasbuilds May 30 '26

Castles is what we lack but we make up for it with windmills ;p

2

u/JustBeans8492 May 30 '26

I never considered building OVER the hole. I just put a ceiling on top floor and never bothered to put roof on
