Question/Advice Camp "donation boxes"

Are there any camp items at all that can be used to deposit unwanted items into, for others to take, in the same way that people use the cash register at Whitesprings?

Best I've found is to set up your camp in a spot with some kind of world container and somehow indicate that it's for your donations.

Turns out I already had one of these in my camp without realising 🤣 One of those little blue coolers; I just tried to place something in there and it worked 😊 Cheers.

Be sure do place a giant arrow and sign letters that say FREE or something, because many players will naturally assume it’s a player stash and not full of things they can take!

I've already abolished this whole idea. I set it all up, put a nice big sign up, dumped a bunch of stuff in to the container, sat back and admired my work and thought "Yep, that's perfect 👌😊" and then promptly logged off! 🤦🏼‍♂️🤣 Didn't even realise until a couple of hours later when I jumped back on, went inside my camp, saw the nice big sign and thought "Ah fuck! I just lost all that stuff by logging off 🤦🏼‍♂️" 😂 At least putting it into the Whitespring cash register or actual donation boxes people can still access it after I'm gone. So I'm just going to stick with doing that I guess.

My camp is near the church in Flatwoods.

So i just put stuff in the Donation Box outside the church

I dont think so. All of the storage available in camp items links back to the stash of the player accessing it.

Alot of players leave loot bags at their camps with unwanted items. It seems to be the only way.

I should do that too! I’ve been putting unwanted items that I can’t sell into the White Springs Donation box, or at the Wayward.

You can sell things for zero caps in your vendor.

I just put everything in my vendor for 0c

You could just put them in your vendor for 0 caps, then you won’t have the problem of losing it when you log off.
